yes, you need it for its effect. I guess they don't like how broken it is and disabled it. I can't use it either anymore. or they found out about the bug.

I have the same issue, the mod that tells me doesnt always work and the chat msgs I think are buggy because im high up. I just go by my feeling of when I think he's close. with time I got fairly decent at telling.

hio, just wonderin, what difference does the souls rebound make?

It pauses damage but every hit still counts as a hit in regards to drops so you'll maybe hit it 200 times but it counts as 1 hit to its health and get drops equal to the 200 hits. He'll die a lot slower (as you still hit him once from the rebound and once at the end of the effect and any hits while rebound effect expired) Last time I played was when I made this video, it's possible they changed it. I could also be wrong, perhaps it does all the hits at the end of the effect. It seemed to take more hits with the rebound.

no, I made this video purely to spread the word of how I think this boss should be farmed. I made the video because someone was farming it with me and I couldnt explain to him how I was farming it so I made this video and sent him my youtube name so he could find it. (sending the link in game was blocked by hypixel)
if someone is harassing you or your friends, I recommend reporting them and to block them. If you don't argue with them and just ignore them, they'll eventually stop.
