Yes, don't you just love it when the basically Christian Americans move Native American remains and artifacts for whatever reason? Sure, there are cases of Christian cemeteries having their contents moved, but not over a small fraction of those of other cultures. Our favorite urbexers are usually respectful of _everyone's_ ancestors, which makes me proud of them. (BTW, if you'd like to see the shoes on the other feet, one of Tony Hillerman's novels about Navajo policemen has a part-Indian agitator digging up the remains of the ancestors of executives in a museum that holds hundreds of Native American remains to show them how it feels. Not that I'd condone such behavior, but it's food for thought, isn't it?)
Love seeing places I am not able to travel to. Thank you so much. We learn enough history from you, that it peaks my interest to learn more. I always google your locations after watching your videos. Thank you so much. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great video Jon! Very respectful to my people. Makes me proud! One note, and I've already mentioned this to Tim, please get you a good pair of snake boots.
Pretty country, interesting history. I find it sad they moved all the bones of that many bodies too. Imagine how we'd feel if it were our family & people that were dug up & moved for ANY reason. Thanks for the explore, guys! 😉👌
Seeing old houses/abandoned houses is so cool it makes me wonder who used to live in it and what happened to them and I love to hear the history behind them if they have any history behind them I love your videos there so fun to watch
Great video job, that old house to went to was awesome. Was the floors that bad? The Indian burial ground was kinda sad due to the TVA moving their first resting place. Keep the vids coming.
Our home in MO was built atop a Native American burial ground where the bodies had been moved. It was "haunted," but the spirits there were benign. I was pregnant when we left the house, and was sad to go because the Old Woman spirit felt so protective of me. Nothing negative ever happened to me there.
Those stations near the teepee reminds me of Cherokee NC where you go to different ones and the natives show you how they weaved, dried tobacco, made arrows etc so I wonder if that was for same purpose 🤔. Great little explore just wish we could have seen more of the abandoned house 😁
Hey Jon, that's the kind of old house that back in the day, people hid their valuables under a loose step in the stairway, or on a ledge built into the inside of the fireplace. Another favorite hiding place, was the pillar cap at the end of the banister, that led upstairs. Another great video Jon, I look forward to each one of them!
Amazing that that old house wasn’t covered in graffiti. Glad you stayed safe. Sad about the burial mound. Nice that they preserved the place of the inventor of the Cherokee written language, guess it was in the way of the TVA also.
I almost thought this was the Cleague House in Athens, TN but it didn’t have a porch on the front. Similar architecture though. Very cool! I wish y’all could have explored it but someone’s bought it and is using it for a Halloween attraction.
That would have been a beautiful home at one time. Why these places are allowed to get to this state and aren't bought up always amazes me. Regarding the second part. That was really interesting. I can well understand why the Indians were unhappy about the exhumation and reburial of their ancestors. If that mound holds that many remains, they must have crammed them all together. Doesn't that seem disrespectful as it was imposed on them, even if nice little plaques have been put up in commemoration. Then again, look at the Catacombs of Paris and the Seldec Osuary in the Czech Republic... No choice there either. Great vid Jon!
Bummed that you didn't give us more video of the brick house, but best to be safe. The TVA Tennessee Valley Authority is well-known in your area but probably not so in the north central and north western parts of the US.
I really enjoyed this vid !! It is interesting about the native American burial mound & don't blame them for haunting that place! I wouldn't want to have my body dug up & moved either! Thanks
Hey guys the last 2 minutes are just outro nothing there just needed to make the video long enough for ad's
I love your videos. I have been ill for two years with no income. Wish I could support you. I am sorry, but grateful for your videos.

He didn't invent the Cherokee alphabet the Cherokee alphabet is Ancient Hebrew
What a beautiful old home. It was once someone’s dream home and held fun, laughter and tears. I can imagine people living there. Thanks
I love old homes and Indian artifacts. I have Cherokee, Choctaw and Creed blood in my lineage. Thank you for your work bud.

Was once such a nice house!
Thank you for being respectful of original Americans. ❤️
The history here is really important. Especially with everyone wanting to erase it. Shout out to you and Tim
I think it's disgusting the moved those Native Indian's from their proper gravesite all in the name of greed and what they call progress :'( xx
Very interesting story about the burial mound but also sad that bodies would be moved in the name of progress. Thanks for sharing!!!

Awesome video
Lovin your flicks Jon!

This is all part of history and it is good to see and also document history. But, it is sad to see such places abandoned and deteriorating.
Watch out for bullseyes where those ticks were. You can never be too careful.
This looks familiar. Maybe Im experiencing dejavu. Love the log cabin. That house was probably once very beautiful. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
Great video

Interesting Jon!
Great video where is this mound or did I miss something 😂
Great video as always. The place is old and if the house could tell it's history.
Ik the TVA had a part in flooding the Fontana village with the Fontana dam
Love the old house
Love the old house!
The wood post by the wood shape tepee maybe they were used to dry meat or salt dry meat, or hang raw hides, that's my guess. Good job...😇❤🙏
This is a very good video.
