I also have the same machine and problem. And this video makes it look so easy. I already replaced another part but now im ready to replace the rods. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I have the exact same washer with the exact same problem of it trying to get walk it's way out of the house during a wash. Your video was easy to follow and very helpful. Thank you.
Highly useful, I usually fix everything around the house, but I usually have to figure everything out by myself, and your video bypasses all that mental effort and goes straight to the point. Excellent explanation.
You are AMAZING! Our washer sounded like it was about to explode when spinning, but with your video and a little help from my 22 year old daughter (neither of us very mechanically inclined) we were able to knock this out fairly easily! Thank you so so so much!
With my washer, the springs had been stretched out so much that the drum moved a lot in the casing. Hope this answers your question. Thanks for watching!
Just did this hope I can get a few more loads out of it. My ring is a wrecked and i didn't even realize it was replaceable. Looks like it mostly just distributes the bleach.
@marcusfixesstuff I I found the broken ring was just a symptom of the suspension failure. I just tried it and it works. Im going to get one of the Speed Queens next time but this got me through for now.

Thanks for the kind words. I’m glad I could help. It was not exactly easy but definitely doable. Thanks for watching!

How do you tell if the rods need replacement
Any idea what was wrong with the springs that were in there? One or more no longer moving easy or?

Thanks, I didn’t really know what it did other than make a lot of noise when broken.
