@jonport_ oil changes every 100 hours (takes 10 minutes), hydraulic filter every 500, fuel filter annually, we've changed hydraulic oil twice at 1000 and 2000 hours, just swapped out the first set of tracks at right around 2100 hours. Just a great great little machine. I didn't pay 50k for it either. If I recall it was just under 35k with a set of forks. We've added several attachments over the years. Can't recommend the baby Kubota high enough. I want a second one.
Thats awesome man. Im glad it working out. Dumb drive handles lol. I just took mine in for its 100 hour service. Had some minors issues that the warranty covered a couple months ago but other then that its killing it👊🏻
What width trencher attachment do you prefer. I'm a pool builder in Cali and about to buy one of these. I'm thinking 6'' or possibly 8'' wide. About 52k out the door with 2 buckets and 8'' trencher. My walk behind ditch witch trencher is 4'' wide and my plumbers want a wider one. Bobcat service is crummy locally so Kubota is my likely next purchase
I have a 6 and that works for me. I would say whatever size you need that you do the most trenching. The biggest thing I ever trench is 1 1/2 inch conduit line, so mines plenty big enough and if I ever need to do a gutter drain, I just kinda do 2 passes.
You clearly don't work in construction if you want a kill switch lanyard. There is a reason not a single manufacturer does that and it's because it isn't practical. These are tools, not toys. Foot plate safety is just fine and is the best solution. Machine isn't going to go anywhere if you aren't on it. Kubota automaticaly engages the parking brake if you step off of it.
@@mikel9567to each his own mike. @@jonport_ if I was looking for a stander skid it would be that kubota…it’s the best one in my opinion…and they’re all expensive!..but ASV makes a really nice mini skid that looks like it would be a great machine…has that multi-terrain undercarriage that would work well on landscaping jobs and running across lawns without rutting them up!…that JCB mini track backhoe looks quite interesting as well but I believe it’s over $100k which is crazy!
@@MrMan5014 Jezzs man. I was going to get a ASV mini but they were really far out on the list. Either way i love my Kubota and thinks its a better fit for my business
I work with a lot of operators, moving equipment around for them, and I cant find one guy who says anything good about this unit of they've ever used a different one.
Things I despise: 1. No strap around the body to keep you against the machine, you get exhausted if using it for more then 2 hours. 2. Incredibly bouncy, even while trying to create a smooth pass. The chances of you creating waves is 90%> 3. Very uncomfortable control maneuverability, it's impossible to become comfy with the machine the way you can with a Dingo What i like: 1. It's fast and strong.
@@SkullDamage 1. Don't tip it in the first place. I've seen plenty of sketchy excavators without tops but still a seat belt. Putting so much energy into holding on to the machine takes energy away from grading nicely. It's good for landscapers, but not the greatest for final grading. Mini excavator is best for that.
Bought one. We are 100 hrs in no issues. We use it for tree work. And love it!
@@Makes.sense.I.Guess. that’s awesome. It’s so useful and versatile
We have 2200 on ours. The full size skid only comes out when we need it. The mini goes on every job.

@ that’s awesome. Our was the same with tax and a trencher and forks. Little under 50 in total
Used one today on a job. You are spot on. Machine is great in every aspect besides the drive controls. If they improved those it would be unmatched.

How does it handle on slopes/steeper terrain?
@@tombain4541 really well. I’ve put it to the test on some sketchy stuff haha
50K is what a 8,000 pound tracked skid steer with cab/heat/AC not that long ago.. that little thing should be south of 30 grand.
Should be! Lol. It’s a little less. With taxes and a trencher and forks it’s right there.
Picking mine up tomorrow, I got a 42 inch four in one bucket 36 inch bucket and forks for 45k
Sick. What will you use it for the most?
I needed it because I kept on breaking my BX23s. I’ll use it for making paver beds for patios and walkways and to move dirt into my dump trailer

Yep. Pretty sick
Appreciate the review and the walk through. How viewable is the screen the screen/dashboard in full sun or with polarized sunglasses?
It’s great either way. Anytime👊🏻
Great video!!
Thank you brother👊🏻
A friend of mine has a different brand it will lift 2500lbs.. it's a literal beast and it lifts over 8ft.
Jezzs man. That’s cool. It’s dose more then Ill ever need. I also have a 75 skid steer so any bigger stuff I get with that

Good recommendations👊🏻

Thinking about getting one. How much did thr trencher cost?

Yes, most are 40”

So what exactly was the "( BIG PROBLEMS)"
With the coolant
and fuel deliver system
