A 2-1 is almoat useless unless using it too add onto another mechanical advantage system. I would almost always rather setup a 3-1. A rope set in the top of the tree youre trying to pull over passed through a pulley tied to your anchor then back through a pulley midline on the pull rope attached to the pull rope with a prusik. Bam. 3-1
Going through 1 pulley is technically just a redirect
One end would be locked at the anchor and the moving pulley is on the load (in this case, our load was the tree), it is your 2:1.
@BartlettArboristSupply that's a 1:1 setup, you'd have to go to the load and back to the pulley for a 2:1

Agreed! This is the first installment on different mechanical advantage systems.
Ah arborist fashion, when will you ever stop being hilarious 😂
nice!
Thanks!
Abdon please do a 3:1 but in small small sets like how to set it up
We got you covered!
I don't know how I got here
