So the bits playing as the human, those were memories watching a researcher collect samples before he became infected, then getting caught and contained until the creature broke out again? Or am I off the mark?
From what I can understand, those were from the future, since it's showing you the aftermath; a lifeless facility with dried up carrion inside ( with some still living at the very bottom )
@@werefloof Sorry but if it was after the massacre there would be blood or more carrion so it's before. So what happened people found ruins of some alien thingy and scientists were supposed to search for forms of life to discover, they found carrion biomass but one of the scientists got infected and became a carrion. That's my theory
@@lyraaryl2818 looks very similar to the facility to me... It had those metallic ladders we see used everywhere in the facility and even had dysfunctional drones! The same drones we had to fight in the facility, not sure about the blood though, but it's definitely not an ancient building. ( Also, on the very last vision, we see carrion coming out of human form, an ability carrion unlocked right before escaping, if someone got infected, then carrion would not have had that ability if it was in the past )

Dude I love the way you play. Maybe not the quickest or more efficient but you make the monster mc really frightening with how it “thinks” its next moves and even using debris as shields and weapons. 😄
Even better, imagine just watching it tear everyone to bloody pieces, and when you try to escape for the nearby door, you find it’s locked. You frantically pull at the knob to no avail, sneaking frightened glances at the beast slowly approaching you from behind. The red ooze is trailing behind it as it moves closer, and you can hear the jaws of the monster dripping with an immense hunger for flesh and blood. You close your eyes, and accept your fate, waiting for your brutal and gory demise to come. Yet nothing. Instead, the horrific creature is standing right in front of you, right before your very eyes. So you stare back, hands trembling. Then it just opens the door for you, and lets you leave, giving you a polite wave as you frantically make your escape. It seems to like you.
Be careful at the four way gates at 57:50, guys. You can very easily hard lock yourself out if you use a soldier to reverse the gates while you're sitting between them to change them. especially since the game DOESN'T let you retraverse an area that's been beaten. Edit: I lost four hours of progress because of it.
Hopefully a second one comes. It feels like a cliffhanger if it didn’t get one. Will he try and find others like him? Will he have a normal life now? Not to mention, was it the government keeping him in there or some organization linked to the government? There’s a lot of stuff to work with here in my opinion.

@@werefloof Please do not tell me what happens at the end because I haven't finished watching it yet when I'm done I will try to prove my point
@@werefloof I just finished and well what I got was the scientist was infected so they shot him down but they didn't kill carrion they separated him into a lot of pieces with different DNA's then he finally found the last piece of it: the part to transform into a human.
This game's gonna be iconic in this genre in the future, I can already see the merch designs
5:07 You just earned yourself a new subscriber. Pure horror and genius combined; the behemoth leans against the steel door, planning carefully before brutally smashing through and throwing the door at its prey. Legit genius play there.

This game looks gross, I love it! The concept of a biomass-consuming monster reminds me a lot of the Prototype games, still hoping for a third one...
The studio for the game closed and they sold the rights of the game as i remember sadly........1 of a kind gane ngl...
Thank you Prototype, and thank you Carrion for carrying on the body horror of Prototype.
afaik the rights are at Activision. Maybe in 10 years we get a halfassed Mobile Game thats called Prototype 3.
I'd love to have a Prototype remake of the first two games, or a third title! 🙏

If it’s only 57:50, how could you lose 4 hour progress
It’s so cool to see you playing in a way reminiscent of how this thing would actually behave, it’s awesome

Hopefully a second one comes. It feels like a cliffhanger if it didn’t get one. Will he try and find others like him? Will he have a normal life now? Not to mention, was it the government keeping him in there or some organization linked to the government? There’s a lot of stuff to work with here in my opinion.
Or is he going back to his original form and kill everyone?

I REALLY LOVE how you interact in the game as the monster, you let unarmed npc flee, you creep up on enemies and savagely attack them, and even the first time you encountered a drone you wrecked the crap out of it even though it was destroyed because it was something new and foreign yet very dangerous. It's best to make sure its dead man I Love this and hope we could get another game like this.
Scientists and soldiers: Nooo you can’t just destroy our lab and all our work!!! Monster:Haha human go cronch
They nailed the feeling of controlling an unstoppable force of nature out for blood. I wish the game was a little tad longer, because I've been left wanting more.

I watched a few Carrion videos. I admit a morbid facination with the game. But none of the others really understand the alien rage of this creature like you. The anti human joy of your game play, the way you often toy with them, while at other times, you move with business like speed, precision, and unmitigated hostility. You are a monster. Creatively destructive. Hope I never really piss you off.
