Hi Nikita, thank you for this helpful video. Does the NHS determine your pay point based on your overall years of experience or is it years of experience at that NHS pay band? I have 8yrs experience as an OT and believe I fit in pay band 6. Would I be starting at bottom pay point or at the over 5 years? Thanks in advance!
Hi Nikita, thank you for this awesome video, does the salaries depend on the NHS experience only ,or the previous outside UK experience is also considered. for example, if i applied for band 5 post just to teach uk ,however my qualifications meet band 6 or 7 ,does it mean i have to spend a specific period in band 5 before getting a higher on?
Hi nikita! I am a 4th year DPT (Doctor of physical therapy) student from Pakistan, i would like to know how does DPT differs from BPT because it's a whole 5 year doctorate program here in Pakistan and does it help more with the HCPC registration. Also i would like to know your opinion on when should i start working on the application process because i have still 2 years left in my DPT. Hope you'll answer and keep up the great work ☺️
Hi Hasan, I'm not sure about the syllabus difference in DPT and BPT. But in my personal opinion if your syllabus and clinical internships hours meet the HCPC recommendations you should be accepted quite easily. Also I think you may need to wait till your course is over, just because you will need all the documents from your course to apply for the HCPC. And thank you for all your support.
