    Wow! Very inspiring, you could get all that with the 130 SLT. I'm not so confident in my capabilities but am going to try with my 130SLT and ASI120MC camera. Wish me luck, really great pics, must have taken a lot of exposure!

      Thank you! It was all with the 130slt but it was modded. It depends on your location and if you have access to remote places with almost no light pollution

    These results are amazing.. i also want to start beginner astrophotography but im thinking if i should get a setup like this one, or a small sky tracker and a svbony 503 and dslr.. i really dont know which is better for the money. I also want to targer DSOs, mostly galaxies..

      Thanks a lot! Yes, there's a lot to take in consideration before choosing the right gear for you. If your goal is DSO (and not so much for planetary for example), it makes it easier for you to narrow down the type of scope you want to get. Hope you have good results!

    Wow! The results are amazing! But as an amateur, I have several doubts. I have a 130SLT too, and a Canon Rebel T7. I took some pictures in raw, but I don’t have any ideas about processing them with software. Any advice? Thanks and greetings from Mexico!

      Hello and thank you! Did you use a barlow lens? And did you took multiple long exposures? You can use sequator for an easy result check, but for a better result I would recommend deepskystacker to stack the photo and an editing software to adjust levels and constrast (preferebly pixinsight, but others like photoshop will do)

      @@thebigredspot7802 thank you sir, how do you rate the tracking of the mount ? I'm planing to buy this mount with a C6 weight about 3.8kg and a mirrorless with a focal reducer. Thank you for the info ^^

      @@nguyentrungdung3576 In my personal opinion, it's not that great. The tracking accuracy is by far the most challenging part of the process. I would say it's all about luck with this mount, trying many times to have it correcly aligned for an hour at least

    Which lens type did you use for astrophotography? Did you also use a Barlow lens? Great job & keep it up!

      For these, I didn't use any barlow as it would reduce the amount of light gathered and field of view. The equipment was just the (modded) telescope and attached dslr (with shutter remote).

      @@danvladoiu9365 Yes. In fact, no eyepiece at all. The DSLR was directly connected to the telescope for prime focus

      Hi, yes other DSLR (or different types of cameras) might work as well. You might want to search for specific information regarding the equipment of interest

    Hey I’ve been watching your videos and love them also subscribed but I have one question with the telescope because I want your setup. So for the telescope does it track the galaxies and nebulas without stopping or do you have to keep on pressing the remote to do it?

      Hi! Thank you so much! The scope comes with a tracking mount meaning that it will automatically follow every object and stay pointing to any point you manually found by yourself. However I must say that thw accuracy its not the best, depending on where the object is located, and luck...

      You can still manage to get some results with a phone and barlow lens but it requires precise configuration of its camera and the results will never be as good as an prime-focus attached dslr

      The mod consists on bringing the primary mirror closer to the secondary mirror. I followed a youtube guide, it's actually very simple, but also delicate

    yo im deciding on which i should get. nexstar 130SLT or the nexstar 127SLT mak. I heard that the 130SLT needs to be collimated but the 127 doesnt but the 127SLT is better for planets and some deep space and the 130SLT is good for both but a little worse on planets. I myself really like seeing planets but I dont know which I should get!!

      Collimation is not hard to do, but you will need a laser collimator, wich you can find easily online. I have no experience with any other scope, but with the 130SLT the best results I could get from planets are all here and on my instagram page. Some scopes have longer focal length whrich is great for planetary photography but makes is harder for deep sky since you would have a reduced field of view.

      Hi! I got my best results of the planets before the mod. And using barlow lens (i tried 3x + 2x; only 3x with a 9mm eyepiece)
