Thanks for the idea. BTW the drill bit you are showing is more commonly referred to as a brad-point drill bit, usually used for wood. I like you have found they work very well for most softer materials. A Forstner bit will work similarly but tend to be a bit more costly to purchase.

did the same. I also did my own Dubbing...
Why did you drill the holes in the bottom not the lid.
More robust that way. If you drill in the lid, it's possible to open the lid while extracting dubbing.
