    I know this is an older video but it’s the best diy dubbing box. Hole size and type of drill bit most don’t are great pointers. Thanks.

    Thanks for the idea. BTW the drill bit you are showing is more commonly referred to as a brad-point drill bit, usually used for wood. I like you have found they work very well for most softer materials. A Forstner bit will work similarly but tend to be a bit more costly to purchase.

    I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for a fly tying workbench. Just looked up some photos of what people have going on. Gives me some idea's of what to plan for to build.

    Why did you drill the holes in the bottom not the lid.

      More robust that way. If you drill in the lid, it's possible to open the lid while extracting dubbing.
