I really like "yozakura family"(really underrated manga btw) artstyle they give realistic and cartoony vibes and the progressive arts being better and better its just satisfying to look at,tho when things get chaotic i dont understand wtf is going on.
I absolutely adore houseki no kuni and haruko ichikawas artstyle, as much as the character are drawn more in a simple way it's so good because of the use of negative space and how planned and structured the manga is.
One manga i haven't seen a decrease in quality is Blue Lock (ive only read like 160 chapters tho) it just keeps getting better, same with my hero academia
As a Mha fan, I normally only watch the anime but holy shit the art in the manga is amazing! Just try to ignore the fandom, ship who you want and don’t send death threats if someone disagrees💀 Oh, and remember that most of the characters are *highschoolers.* Nothing illegal please-
I think if mangaka could do the same thing fullmetal alchemist the panels and art would just looks so much better the publishing would be slower but the art would be like 100x better than right now even tho monthly shonen jump manga takes a long time to finish it would be just so much better but people have like no patience these days so they probably have to do weekly
I personally don't like the character design of Berserk but the shading, crosshatching and the anatomy is without a doubt top tier, and hot diggidy damn the background is straight up breath taking
I think that what is said for one piece can also be said for chainsaw man, because from like chapter 133 and on the art starts to feel rushed because fujimoto has been releasing chapters weekly
Horikoshis nose thing comes from his affliction for drawing animals he likes to draw animals alot, he even made a whole manga about it and he just incorporated that “snout” kind of look
Nah, it the demands for fast manga. Especially for now- the modern day, some tech or art style has to be expected to keep up with the deadline, to push out the relevancy with their readers and the series. An average Otaku watches or follows at least a minimum of three or five different anime/manga just wait for the others anime/manga
its really tough to know how to feel about jjk because the art has changed and is harder to comprehend, but I don't want artists hurting themselves through overwork, and I think the anime became so popular that the manga is now a first draft rather than a work in its own right
I believe I know the reason why Mob Psycho didn't get a different artist. ONE wanted to draw it. I swear I heard (could be very wrong IDK) that one of the reasons he even made Mob in the first place was because Yusuke Murata took over as the Artist for One Punch Man and he wanted to draw a story himself from start to finish, and I respect (and would relate to) that greatly. He doesn't just want to become a goated writer, he wants to become a goated mangaka. Which he is goated.
From an artist perspective it could come down to burn out or forcing to work through art block due to the high demand of popular manga's, (art block can effect artist's that over work so bad that they can sometimes forget how to draw all together!! and it can take from days to months to get out of it) but once art block is done you'll see improvement! because unlike ai "artist" that spits out regurgitated garbage and after three years AND still cant get hands right. Artist can, because they actually learned consistency, form and composition. but it must take hours and hours to plan out and ink every page comics and manga's are tirelessly, tedious and normally not a small and easy task. so weekly-fortnight updates while making a whole ass animation on top of that, yeah mate i would be tired af, besides how long did you on average look at a panel before flipping the page to the next scene, ill tell you what probably not the whole 1 hour or the 13 hour hours that it took to make. which is completely normal, i don't watch frozen for the whole supposed 10 years it took to make. (and that took a whole company.) if your still not happy and there's a decline in quality of your favorite manga that's okay, plenty of smaller artist make manga's that are so fcking pretty and that barely get the love they deserve!! so go support smaller artists and find an art style/story you'll love to watch as anime in the future!! you never know! anyway just wanted to add my two cents as an artist rather then just the consumer, cause MAN ANIMATION AND MAKING A MANGA IS SO DIFFICULT AND LOOOOOOOOOOONG PROCESS, and im tired of people seeming annoyed at an already (standard but super FAST) upload schedules (for artist) , and a CONSISTANT ONE AT THAT!- and to not let burn out effect the work for SO LONG. YEARS?? crazy patience. so respect your fellow artists! its a crazy tedious but rewarding skill, (my own latest art work took me 18 hourrrrs for example) and support smaller artist and the animation guild protest for better work environments and for animators (the ones that make YOUR favorite animes even exist) to keep there jobs, home ect!! :)) have a good day! :))
Personally I feel like the late 2000s (2005-2009) and the late 80s early 90s had the best anime art. And manga probably peaked around 2001-2008 art wise. They utilized line weight to convey form, something you don't see often today ; among other things. And before someone calls me a boomer I grew up with the modern stuff too I just stumbled upon this older stuff whilst looking around and got captivated by it so it's not nostalgia.

0:35 hard worker
gorgeous stuff
i found sun-ken rock randomly and was reading it like "Was this made by the guy who made dr stone" and when i found out it was i KNEW it would be just as peak
idk, the only 2 mangas I collect is Mashle and JJK(poland is 2 years behind on every manga) but I think about starting reading frieren
I really like "yozakura family"(really underrated manga btw) artstyle they give realistic and cartoony vibes and the progressive arts being better and better its just satisfying to look at,tho when things get chaotic i dont understand wtf is going on.
shinji is my gooner goat!!! i love when he nuts all over his hand WWWWWWW
Dawg why are you so funny😭
I absolutely adore houseki no kuni and haruko ichikawas artstyle, as much as the character are drawn more in a simple way it's so good because of the use of negative space and how planned and structured the manga is.
shinji is my gooner goat!!! i lov it when he nuts all over his hand WWWWWWWWW!
prob the best vid ever
One manga i haven't seen a decrease in quality is Blue Lock (ive only read like 160 chapters tho) it just keeps getting better, same with my hero academia
shit looks soooo good
@ItsKoshi fr man, every panel is gorgeous
damn good video
As a Mha fan, I normally only watch the anime but holy shit the art in the manga is amazing!
Just try to ignore the fandom, ship who you want and don’t send death threats if someone disagrees💀
Oh, and remember that most of the characters are *highschoolers.* Nothing illegal please-
I think if mangaka could do the same thing fullmetal alchemist the panels and art would just looks so much better the publishing would be slower but the art would be like 100x better than right now even tho monthly shonen jump manga takes a long time to finish it would be just so much better but people have like no patience these days so they probably have to do weekly
That's CRAZY you put yoshihiro in the thumbnail...its like ur saying his artstyle is a example of bad art
I personally don't like the character design of Berserk but the shading, crosshatching and the anatomy is without a doubt top tier, and hot diggidy damn the background is straight up breath taking
Homunculus is heat especially with the art. But it’s strange! Some moments are down right peculiar
I think that what is said for one piece can also be said for chainsaw man, because from like chapter 133 and on the art starts to feel rushed because fujimoto has been releasing chapters weekly
Never let bro cook again 😭
i love this video
This shit so magnificent😭
2.25 thats heat bro i cant even draw a stickman
Shinji is my gooner goat!!!
He did the thing!
Don't let shinji be alone in the hospital.
mfs gotta guard that hospital to save our german friend!!!
Horikoshis nose thing comes from his affliction for drawing animals
he likes to draw animals alot, he even made a whole manga about it
and he just incorporated that “snout” kind of look
Soul Eater is one of my personal favourite art style. It's quirky but have found a way to make the horror actually pretty creepy.
I would say realistic art is way better for the hard work they put in and you can relate pretty ezely
Nah, it the demands for fast manga.
Especially for now- the modern day, some tech or art style has to be expected to keep up with the deadline, to push out the relevancy with their readers and the series.
An average Otaku watches or follows at least a minimum of three or five different anime/manga just wait for the others anime/manga
vary well make video😁
2:24 this was so fire i hope it burns to a crisp never to be seen again🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯
0:26 truest thing I’ve ever heard
can you youtubers PLEASE put the music you used in the bio to help us small aspiring guys out 🙂🙂
its really tough to know how to feel about jjk because the art has changed and is harder to comprehend, but I don't want artists hurting themselves through overwork, and I think the anime became so popular that the manga is now a first draft rather than a work in its own right
I believe I know the reason why Mob Psycho didn't get a different artist.
Atsushi Ohkubo's art mentioned - based video💪🗿
(and that took a whole company.)
if your still not happy and there's a decline in quality of your favorite manga that's okay, plenty of smaller artist make manga's that are so fcking pretty and that barely get the love they deserve!! so go support smaller artists and find an art style/story you'll love to watch as anime in the future!! you never know!
anyway just wanted to add my two cents as an artist rather then just the consumer, cause MAN ANIMATION AND MAKING A MANGA IS SO DIFFICULT AND LOOOOOOOOOOONG PROCESS, and im tired of people seeming annoyed at an already (standard but super FAST) upload schedules (for artist) , and a CONSISTANT ONE AT THAT!- and to not let burn out effect the work for SO LONG. YEARS?? crazy patience.
so respect your fellow artists! its a crazy tedious but rewarding skill, (my own latest art work took me 18 hourrrrs for example)
and support smaller artist and the animation guild protest for better work environments and for animators (the ones that make YOUR favorite animes even exist) to keep there jobs, home ect!! :))
have a good day! :))
NOT YOU USEING TOPZY IN THE BEGINNING LOL
The art in weekly sj series rarely gets better as it goes on
Personally I feel like the late 2000s (2005-2009) and the late 80s early 90s had the best anime art.
