@@carsguide I'm a huge car nerd. Love touring \ roadtrips and 4wding with the wife and kids. I personally not a fan of Urus exterior. Interior is cool. Would have Audi Q8 or SQ7 not that I can afford any of them

Not that an owner would care, but what was the fuel economy like?
OZ Outdoorz skip to 26:43 where Mum and I talk fuel economy - but after measuring fuel usage at the petrol pump I found I was using 15.7L/100km. Official combined fuel consumption is 12.7L/100km. Thirsty but not as much as I expected - my miles were mainly urban with country roads thrown in. Cheers Richard

Greg Wallace thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. I’m lucky enough to get to drive these machines. Truth is I type this with a radiator I’ve just bought for Amanda’s 2008 Ford Focus at my feet that I need to put in because the old one is leaking! Cheers Richard
@@carsguide How'd you go with the radiator for the Focus Richard? These days I apply the Mark Twain theory on mechanics, well, one of his quotes anyway. "All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, and then success is sure". Replacing radiators in a Ford Focus may be just that same thing.
@@gregwallace9035 I've always found Mark Twain's one liners to be spot on - and it appears he was right about the Focus radiator until this morning. It started over heating on Amanda during he commute to work. I feel though it may be because I didn't top it up with water... so perhaps ignorance and confidence will only get you so far. Fortunately it was far enough for Amanda to walk the rest of the way to work. Cheers Richard
Had a brief city and freeway drive of the Urus. I found the suspension surprisingly soft in its softest setting and loved the sound of it which is best in Corsa mode. Despite what the dealer told me that Corsa was only for the track I found it was just fine both in the city and on the freeway. To me it only needs one road going mode and thats Corsa. I did not find it to have very low down torque or as pecision steering as a BMW but maybe actual Lamborghini cars do? I have read there is a new more offroad model of the Urus in the pipeline.
Those are good observations - the suspension is soft and Corsa could be a lot firmer. I think Lamborghini have been quite smart here - they know people will drive it in Corsa on the road so have made the ride soft enough to easily live with it. There probably needs to be another level - a Corsa +, perhaps. As for more Urus versions in the pipeline - absolutely. Lamborghini says that this Urus is just the beginning. In true Lamborghini style we'll probably see an array of higher performance and super exclusive limited editions come along very soon. Cheers Richard
