São Pedro de Moel is a small village on the Portuguese west coast about 20 kilometres north of Nazaré. Nazaré has gained worldwide fame in recent years for the highest waves in the world.
The recordings are from the the evening of 29 and morning of 30 September 2024.
On 29 September, the sea was still almost calm.
Then, on 30 September, the swell from ex-hurricane Kirk arrived. Perfect lines rolled in.
For the next 9 days there were super nice waves to surf.
