- Tropical Storm Ian continues to move through the Caribbean on its way to the Gulf of Mexico. On its current track, the system is expected to have an impact on the Gulf Coast next week.

I'm in the Pacific Northwest and for some reason I watched the entire video because this guy is such an engaging communicator. No hype, just earnest, enthusiastic, and effective.

Wow. Never seen this guy before, but Google keep this coming. Lived in Florida many years. Now in Vancouver Canada, but my heart still there with my friends there. Get a few suggestions from google on all this coverage, and I now I get this new kid from Texas, not Florida. OMG this kid is good. I personally know what this is like Riding two storms in Florida (Charley 2004, Wilma 2005) I never got from local tv stations back then this kind of coverage and passion from a weatherman. . You have love someone that truly loves their job. This kid needs a raise, and I suspect will be moving on to higher dreams. Way to go. I tell my kids (19 /22) to not just follow their dream, but follow their passion.

We survived Hurricane Michael. It developed like this one and followed a similar path. It gained strength quickly and made landfall as a Cat 5. It devastated our towns on into SW Ga. Pay attention and prayers for all

I was in Naples Florida when Hurricane Irma came in 2017. I left Wednesday at noon and arrived in Locust Grove, Georgia on Friday evening. That's how many people we're evacuating. Traveling was at a snails pace.
When I came down from Maca, Georgia to Naples it took me 8 hours pre-hurricane.
