A few days ago I was trying to catch trout but wasn’t having any luck. I approached someone else who was fishing and they told me what they were using and answered my questions. They even offered me one of the fish they caught. I took it home and ate it. Then the next time I was able to go to the pond with the right stuff and catch 3. So basically they both gave me a fish and taught me how to fish. They were great! 😊
Giving fish away reminds me of when we’d troll for walleye on the Great Lakes. We’d catch a fair amount of freshwater drum in the process. We’d keep them in the live well & give they to people fishing the pier @ the boat ramp.
