For a single male traveller to Thailand, i would have thought female company occasionally was an essential part of the trip, so bearing that in mind, i think £10,000 is probably nearer the mark.
If your half decent looking and young enough and she's not a gold digger (rare I know) you can pull normal birds and not spend much on them at all. Just saying
That's about 80,000 baht a month on average. I'd say that is pretty typical for a person having a good time in Thailand who doesn't have any strict budgets. If you wanted to budget, you could rent a place for a few months (which would normally be about 10-20K a month) and eat more street food. I think the average for that would be more like 45-50K THB a month. Depends on what people want to do
If I stay longer term in Pattaya at least a month or so, I stay in some where like Nirun Grand Ville for around £120 per month plus electric at Govt rates.... Not the smartest place but good enough to sleep and take back ones Horizontal Aerobic instructress for lessons
I've lived in decent apartments in Siem Reap, Cambodia for $100 U.S. per month. You can find them even cheaper if you can live simply and don't need luxury.
That was really informative, thank you. I suspect few people have been able to take a four month vacation. The longest I've managed is 6 weeks, but it's different from a fortnight where you're trying to pack as much in as possible. You can take guilt free "doing nothing" days to recharge your batteries or chose the slower travel options. As you say, when you're in one place for a while you can find the local food places, bars, markets etc that suit you. You can work out the local transport systems and you might be less worried about booking a swanky hotel because you're there for weeks, not a short-term treat. Good video and definitely food for thought.
I just came back yesterday and had a month out there. My total spend was approximately £3000.00 inc Lady and car hire. So I think you are spot on with your pricing. Keep the good work up 👍
Been looking forward to this vlog Eddie i am thinking of doing the same thing not as much as i thought thanks for that. Looking forward to see Romania cheers mate..
I've been in Thailand for over a year now. In my first year I went to Bangkok, Pattaya ,Koh Samui ( Lamai Beach ), and Chiang Mai. My total cost for everything was only $25,000.
I know things have changed and everything, but I'm still having a little chuckle at the word 'only' when you mentioned how much you spent in a year.. Golden age has definitely ended!
@@VooDooMaGicMan81 i was about to say the same thing.... Haha hahaha, LOL ..... i ONLY spent 500 on a piece of candy, hahahaha...i been to thailand, thats like 2 years worth, or slightly more

We never really saw him venture far lol, but he was happy.. Swear he couldn't be doing more than 5k a year, 78 baht to the pound then too!
Great video Ed, the cost for 4 months holiday in Thailand is still cheaper than 4 months surviving in the US or UK. The cost of lady company would be at least another $3000 ( 3 bar fines a week)
Come on Eddie, Female company is an essential expense in Thailand.... Its the main reason for going to Thailand in the first place... around £300 per week thats around an additional £4800 which would be a total £12800
@@STEADY599 Well you did miss out what most of the community will consider the "MOST ESSENTIAL" expense. So I thought I would just do the community a little bit of a favour on your behalf and add it in for you.....Cheers (slurping on my 2nd can of speckled hen)
Excellent video Eddy, I have wondered about the costs of a four month trip for a long time now, wanna be out of here next winter. By the way what did she say at the end? Couldn't quite make it out.
Our flight booked in March for 2 weeks was £450 direct and is now £900 and our hotel which is lovely was £34 and is now £50. Book as early as possible would be my advice. Thailand have finally given up on restrictions from a travel perspective. The Thaipass even though a nuisance was so easy this time. It is what it is.
I did Thailand Pass,no problem. BUT at check in you are required to show printed Vaccine certs and Insurance and again at BKK before immigration so what is the point of having it at all.?
i just booked a flight for 27th June for £565 couldn't find anything cheaper . looking at the December flights they are all over £650 . wish i booked 2 months ago could have got them for around £420 direct
If you are planning to stay in Thailand for a few months I'm surprised you didn't get an 'O' visa from the Thai consulate in England. It would have been cheaper. Not sure of the cost now but I remember a 1 year 'O' visa was 125 quid. Keep safe mate.
Good idea, Bob. But remember, when I booked to go to Thailand it was when the pandemic was in full swing and it was uncertain if I'd even make it out there. Thanks for your info, anyway.
Spending $10,000 USD in 4 months... Ouch! Travelling with Eddie in Thailand for 4 months... Priceless! $10,000 in NYC for 4 months ($2,500 per month) is poverty level. Can't wait to see your next trip! Have a Cold Beer, Cheers! Guy from NYC
Took some notes during the video, and would summarize as follows. Eddy's costs for 4 Months in Thailand: Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Chumphon, and 4 islands (Koh Chang, Kho Tao, Kho Phangan, Kho Samui) Included: Flights - £500 Transportation to/from airports - £100 Hotel costs for 120 days - £3,000 Within Thailand: buses, trains, boats, taxis, flights (Koh Samui to Bangkok was 95 pounds) - £300 total Insurance - £100 Visa costs - £200 total (broken down as follows): One month visa extension from Jomtien immigration office - 1,900 baht Two month visa extension performed by private agency - 5,900 baht Food & drink - averaged £30/day. £3,600 total Miscellaneous costs / odds & ends - £200 TOTAL: £8,000 UK pounds ($9,990 USD = $14,200 AUD = $12,822 CAD = €9,456 Euros) Not included: Pandemic related costs (PCR tests, quarantine hotel, etc.) Companionship / dating costs / gifts, food, drink, etc for your significant other This sounds like a really good summary to me. Are there other costs that were missed?
You never went to Phuket, Ed? I'm starting there on my 4 month trip in a couple of weeks and going from there. Will be spending half of what you did on accom, and plenty more on partying ...
That hotel that is in your video around 6min in - with the roof top pool, this is where i stayed in Pattaya for New Years - about 1,000THB per night (triple room) - Inn House Pattaya - it's ok
Steady Eddy -That budget sounds pretty good (about $2,500 a month). I spend about that in a week in Thailand, but I am in 2-week millionaire mode with a long time Thai lady, going to an agogo every other day, ringing the bell, etc!
Excellent topic and roundup! Overall, this was an exceptional video series. Sometimes, I felt like I was there with you. Thanks for the memories Eddie!
Thanks Eddie This was very interesting and helpful in a useful guidance to your Thailand journeys. I live here on Phuket at Kamala Beach. I have plan now. When we go to Bangkok next week, to visit some tour operators. To work up a couple travel routes around Thailand but without lodging or transportation. To follow the directions of the routings without a time-line to stick to and much room for deviating.
Im in Thailand now for the last 2 weeks (I was in Phnom Penh the week before)I've only been to Pattaya and Bangkok too catch up with mates, its what you make it. I haven't been able to travel for over 2 years and now I'm partying up and having a blast. Thailand is not expensive but like everything it has gone up in price but you do get alot of bang for your buck. Good job Eddie.
I followed you while we coincided while traveling in Thailand. My stay was 6 weeks including 10 day quarantine, which was the most friendly to my budget. 😀 A 60 m room with three decent meals cost me 500 THB, as ins covered the balance of 33000 THB bill. That said, I spent just a tad below you while in a abbreviated time, but realize you did well. The bulk of my cost was hotels. I got a great deal for $17usd a night in Phuket x 7nts, and my stays highly escalated in price afterwards. it was still a bargain and worth it. It helped I didn't hire female company, but was tempted. I eventually got laid a fair number of nights. My biggest expense was visiting Bangkok Hospital in Phuket. The unexplained pain I was experiencing got diagnosed as Shingles. The cost is on par with travel insurance I purchased. ... Seems we both had a great vacay. Cheers 🍻
I think that's very reasonable for 4 month trip Eddie! A trip to paradise at that!...well near on anyway! After the pandemic putting a stop on life for so long, I actually consider that a bargain! Cannot wait to get back out there soon. Cheers Eddie! all the best mate!
Hi Eddy I am here on koh chang now for 26 days from UK and my budget around £3000 with the longterm gf. Ur calculations on prices I think is spot on. Enjoying ur vlogs 💓 here at night with a cold beer.
I guessed correctly on all of your indices, absolutely makes sense, your numbers are where I’d be at (fellow seasoned traveller to Thailand mate)! Great and realistic vlog mate… To any of you newbies out there, this budget will afford you a fantastic time without being a Cheap Charlie 👍
Good video Eddy. I would have spent less but many will like to spend more. The only strange cost was £100 for insurance. Maybe I misunderstood but can't believe 4 months insurance for £100. ?
Interesting about buying month 4 insurance, as your annual insurance lasts for a max of 90 days per trip. How'd you manage that? In the UK, any travel insurance only covers trips that have to start in the UK. In other words, you couldn't e.g. be in Thailand, take out a month's policy with a UK company and be covered. An accident wouldn't be covered. This situation often applies to me so interested how you got round it without a dedicated annual 'backpacker' policy.
Good info it's in the same ballpark of what I would spend on a long trip to Asia, I travelled for 2 months not long ago and spent under £5000. But also know someone who can spend a couple of grand a week in Thailand.
great account and very relastic and thats cheap if take off what you would of spent in the UK,imo the total spend is 4k as you would of spent 4k in the UK
Good vid Ed, im planning to go nov/dec for 3 months or til I get bored, would be great to bump into you, I’ve already noticed the prices shooting up tho, will be returning to Cambodia again as well, love it at Siem Reap, you only live once, as the Strokes said, keep banging it mate😂💪👍🍆
1,500 Baht per night.... Wow.. ! Eddie you were paying in three nights... what I pay in a whole month for apartments when I stay in Thailand or Cambodia.
I'm the same I an on low budget for long stays, I used to like Malaysia 90 days sosial visa on arrival and if you need longer just go to Singapore over night come back to Malaysia another 90 sosial visa at airport, I'm not sure if that's the case now because of Pandemic!
Nice breakdown. This is in vacation pounds, not "I live here" dollars. I think that's where people get the idea that it's cheap. I spent 6 weeks in Europe, sleeping in hostels, occasionally going to a restaurant, buying food from a market or off street foodie. I never bothered to calculate, since I lost $1k on botched air tickets, (Don't forget about the date change for connecting flights) and (Don't buy your return ticket before you plan to return). Another $4K on two visits to a clinic when I got home to deal with Strep that I caught while I was there.
That’s your costs for 4 months, everyone’s costs differ greatly, mine for example are nowhere same as yours at all. All depends on standards and where you wish to eat or how, if you want a room with a fan very basic or luxury apartment.
Phuket and the south costs a small fotune. On par with western prices and more.Gets to a point when u ask yourself is it worth it with all the disease, bacteria and hassle u have to put up with going there.
Well I for one think that's and excellent price considering you didn't add the prices of female's companionship LT or ST and the fact that you have a great big smile on your face every time you mention the fact that you left the ladies out of that part the equation ! I was just there for 16 nights and 13 of them was spent at the High Roller Club in Pattaya so you certainly have reason to be smiling because it was very satisfying to say the least .
If you takeout 30 day insurance and your return flight is not confirmed to return in the 30 days and you have a insurance claim in the first week. Insurance is invalid. Even on a open ticket.
His travel insurance covers trips of up to 90 days which he then extended when he decided to stay longer (Ed said this in this vlog). Ed also had a return ticket, he just chose not to use it. So you are wrong Vince.
I think you will find that Ed's insurance is a yearly multi trip policy, but each trip is limited to 90 days, some are 45 days, some 30 days so read your policy many come unstuck.
That's really good! Rent where I live for a 1 bedroom apt is $3,000/mo... You covered transportation, hotel, food, and massive drinking😁 on $10,000 US. I tell friends to move overseas if they get laid off in the coming recession. Ride it out in another country...
Great work Eddie indeed everyone has there own ideas in what they want to spend on a Vacation in Asia.Me your a long time dead travel F/C if available if not B/C then 3 to 4 star accommodation then the rest is up to what I spend but I go for 3 to 4 months every year as of before Covid now I'm booked in for September 4 months.Yes it's about enjoying life as I have many friends who work & live in Asia so always good for me to rest recharge the batteries enjoy the lovely food and the nightlife.
"...travel F/C of available if not B/C then." I don’t understand the acronyms. I never stay 3 to 4 star accommadation. I've never spent more than $160 per month for apartment accommodation (Chiang Mai, Thailand)... and $100 U.S. per month for apartment accommodation (Siem Reap, Cambodia). I never stay in B&Bs or hotels or hostels. I rent apartments. . I fly the cheapest flights in travel... in the cheapest seats in the back of the aircraft. I pay my money into my own pocket and bank account first. I don't believe in giving my money to others unless I absolutely have to... or when I give in charity to help the less fortunate.

Well done Eddy. I think this will temper some people's idea that the flight is the most expensive part, and it's small change only for expenses when you are there. Accommodation is the big one. In Asia, I usually stay in hostels, but with the 'Cov, staying in a shared dorm is now a no-no for me. But hostels can be a good way to meet fellow travellers and share the cost of day trips. Asian hostels cost me
yeah, that's what I usually do, tho I have a couple Thai families I stay with up in Issan. I've found a nice, new and clean guesthouse near the Thong lor BTS for under 300 (last time I was there in 2019, all bets are off post pandemic, I fear most till raise prices a lot. ESPECIALLY when they see tourists coming more and more). Ed seems to like to eat 2 meals at once and the restaurant only thing amounts to almost half of his trip cost. One can usually find a local Thai place or some street food for 50 baht give or take, tho I'm sure that price will be up in future. I don't drink, except when I'm having a rare night at Nana or some such. BTS can be a cost, if you're doing errands, might be equal to the daily food. Drinks...Oishi whenever I can, or some weird and wonderful Thai thing, lychee with floating bits of taro or whatever it is. Maybe 200 baht on a big day. I often average 2500-3000 on an average week and enjoy the hell out of walking around. I'm more shifting my living place from here to Thailand for a few months in winter. Also at the dorm places, other guests can tip you off to great places to see or things to watch out for, might invite you out with em to some place you'd never know of or go to usually.
@@Tom-Yum-Gai Exactly. Meeting people of different ages and cultures and life experience is very interesting to me. I never, ever eat street food, but I eat the local cuisine in local restos. Sometimes for a break from resto food, go to a supermarket, buy food to cook at the hostel. I never do AirBnB as I don't agree with what it's done to the rental market for locals where it operates. And I wouldn't drive in Asia as I would be terrified. So buses and the odd taxi. Trains obviously too.
Hi Ed,,, A well considered video,,, no matter what it cost you,,, the main thing is DID YOU ENJOY IT,,, and from what I was watching id of said YES you did. Just one other thing i think worth mentioning ED,,, is as your lucky enough to be self employed,,, is the sum of money you would loose from not working,,, 4 months without a wage is a long time,,, so although its not an actual cost,,, subscribers should take it into consideration. 16 weeks of no pay mounts up. Best wishes Ed and good to see back safe and well.
700 baht a night will get you a reasonable hotel in pat's.An average restaurant meal will set you back 250 baht.A beer will cost you 160 (walking street gogo's),a 100 for most other bars.Women are between 2500 (pretty ones) down to massage girls 1000.I wouldn't touch freelancers with a barge pole-too much stuff has gone missing from my room.2000 baht equals 46 pounds. Philippines-my sabang apartment is 4.5 pounds a night.A restaurant meal is 4 pounds.A San Miguel beer is 1 pound.Women are between 5000 pesos or 77 pounds (gogo's) and 1500 pesos or 23 pounds. Enjoy your day.
Very informative! So for anyone trying to figure out how to budget, have a good look at this guys previous vlogs and see if this is you! If not adjust accordingly! Long stays are cheaper. Eating Thai food is cheaper and eating street food is even cheaper! Accommodation can be more budget friendly according to the facilities etc, etc. What it boils down to is.....are you a shoestring backpacker? or someone that wants to enjoy their free time and don't mind paying a bit extra for a bit of luxury. Some could do it for 4000 pounds and others would need 12000 pounds. At the ned of the day, know your budget and stick to it! Happy holidays!
Thanks for doing this, Ed. I find the flights from US to be pretty reasonable for the distance. When I return. I'll still be stuck with my 10-12 days (excluding travel time), but look forward to the days that I can do 3 months there to escape winter 🤣!
This is a good budget estimate for someone who isn't scrimping. For me Im spending $A4000 a month which is above your $A3500 but I have a girl. Mind you im spending a lot less on accommodation around 10 pound a night because im not moving as much doing monthly rentals but spending more on beer and eating for two.
I often use Asda for annual travel insurance, but you can only be out the country three months at a time. I had to purchase separate insurance for remaining month.
@@STEADY599 Is it ok booking a one way flight, have ever been asked for proof of an exit flight? As I would like to to be flixible with my return flight?
I'm really torn I make $6900 U.S. in pension at age 50 however if I hold on until 57 I will get a second pension and the total will be closer to $10,000 a month. With the recent increases in inflation I think it is smarter to keep working for a few more years.
I retired at age 50 Taking 6k a month. No regrets, none. Most of the guys that retired before me, never lasted more than 5 years. You don't get more time. 7k is an incredible amount of money across 80% of the World! I recommend getting out now and renew your passport, travel light. I'm now age 56 ( retired Oct. 2016) I've been across 4 Continents and a dozen countries so far..... I'm currently in Tbilisi Georgia in eastern Europe Moving back to Thailand by end of the year retirement visa....... Good Luck
JSmith it really depends on the annual rate of inflation which is constantly rising now (10%) after years of stagnation. Simple maths will mean in 10yrs $10,000 will only be worth $1,000. This results in people buying property as a financial safety measure, evident by rising house prices but this will give a pleasing return when you decide to cash out or continue & protection of your depleted pension.
any chance you could tell us how much you earnt along the way doing you tube and does it really help with your tour or does it help with the bar bill ?
Eddie, when you only had 30 day visa exemption on arrival, did you have any trouble when trying to board the flight in the UK , given you had a return flight booked for 3 to 4 months later, as i have heard they can refuse boarding if you dont have an exit or return flight before the end of the visa you are traveling on, so 30 days in your case?
@@STEADY599 Cheers Eddie..So you were covered anyway ,but they never asked..I suppose its maybe a hit or a miss if they ask or not. I have not normally been asked either, but they did ask me if I had a visa for a 90 day return trip ticket on my last one in 2019 leaving the UK. I did have a visa that covered 90 days, but I think if I had be going on the 30 day exemption, hoping to extend when i got there, I have the feeling I may have encountered trouble at the check in desk. Pain in the arse trying to cover all these rules.

Best way to get value is always monthly accommodation over daily. Staying in 1 place for 4 months & supermarket access means you'll make your money go much further. What you're describing is 'perpetual tourist' mode & spending a lot of times carting your luggage around the country. Monthly rate accommodation can be 33% of daily cost & more likely to get bigger fridge/ cooking facility. Just got to choose a good location (Phuket?) & can move between monthlies if you really need.
@Billy Boyd I think youtube has a role to play ... Ed has worked hard to keep his channel active & it makes sense that he might have to be somewhat of a loner & vagabond roaming traveller in real life. But here on youtube he is a minor celebrity & savvy businessman.
Good video. But a little coy about the girls... How many did you sample and what did it cost overall? Its not a State Secret, and it is highly relevant for your followers who are planning a trip...
Thank god your fit. To do it , Big Tom go out the same way you came in, life very short, up to you short time long time, over 18, hard to be on your own freedom
A little confused, had you already included your annual insurance in your spend and the £100 was for the additional insurance you bought. Just didn't hear you say about your annual insurance. Did you not consider that as part of your travel expense. Also deducting the £95 air ticket that only left £205 for your other travel and knowing how far you travelled, I think you may need to recalculate. Not trying to pick you to pieces, Eddie, but some things just don't seem to add up.
For a single male traveller to Thailand, i would have thought female company occasionally was an essential part of the trip, so bearing that in mind, i think £10,000 is probably nearer the mark.

Thanks m8 ..hope you're keeping well..and good luck m8 .

Great video Ed, the cost for 4 months holiday in Thailand is still cheaper than 4 months surviving in the US or UK. The cost of lady company would be at least another $3000 ( 3 bar fines a week)
Thanks, mate.
Come on Eddie, Female company is an essential expense in Thailand.... Its the main reason for going to Thailand in the first place... around £300 per week thats around an additional £4800 which would be a total £12800

Excellent video Eddy, I have wondered about the costs of a four month trip for a long time now, wanna be out of here next winter. By the way what did she say at the end? Couldn't quite make it out.
Something about a 7/11 being cheaper
Our flight booked in March for 2 weeks was £450 direct and is now £900 and our hotel which is lovely was £34 and is now £50. Book as early as possible would be my advice. Thailand have finally given up on restrictions from a travel perspective.
The Thaipass even though a nuisance was so easy this time. It is what it is.
I didn't see the Thai pass a big headache. It was the awful PCR tests before and after flying that I hated. Good to hear from you.
Ouch!

Took some notes during the video, and would summarize as follows.
Eddy's costs for 4 Months in Thailand:
Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Chumphon, and 4 islands (Koh Chang, Kho Tao, Kho Phangan, Kho Samui)
Included:
Flights - £500
Transportation to/from airports - £100
Hotel costs for 120 days - £3,000
Within Thailand: buses, trains, boats, taxis, flights (Koh Samui to Bangkok was 95 pounds) - £300 total
Insurance - £100
Visa costs - £200 total (broken down as follows):
One month visa extension from Jomtien immigration office - 1,900 baht
Two month visa extension performed by private agency - 5,900 baht
Food & drink - averaged £30/day. £3,600 total
Miscellaneous costs / odds & ends - £200
TOTAL: £8,000 UK pounds ($9,990 USD = $14,200 AUD = $12,822 CAD = €9,456 Euros)
Not included:
Pandemic related costs (PCR tests, quarantine hotel, etc.)
Companionship / dating costs / gifts, food, drink, etc for your significant other
This sounds like a really good summary to me. Are there other costs that were missed?
Plus another 8k that little eddy spent

You never went to Phuket, Ed? I'm starting there on my 4 month trip in a couple of weeks and going from there. Will be spending half of what you did on accom, and plenty more on partying ...
Always enjoy your videos. Edward.. Wondering how many time can i renew my 1 month tourist visa from inside thailand..
You can renew for one more month from immigration office. Or se an agent (for a fee) for up to six months.

This was very interesting and helpful in a useful guidance to your Thailand journeys.
Have a great time, mate.
Cheers 🍻
Good to hear from you, mate.
Pretty much what i spent on my extended trips, yet again a good insight from steady Eddy
I think that's very reasonable for 4 month trip Eddie! A trip to paradise at that!...well near on anyway!
After the pandemic putting a stop on life for so long, I actually consider that a bargain! Cannot wait to get back out there soon. Cheers Eddie! all the best mate!

That’s about right I did 2 islands Bangkok and Pattaya for 2 months for 4,500. Worth every penny
It's ok mate, I just finished watching this vlog and you answered my visa question in it lol. Cheers bro🍻🍻🍻

GREAT video Eddy! Thank you and think I would double that with the female company, easy and be happy about it.
Only spend what you can afford.
1,500 Baht per night.... Wow.. ! Eddie you were paying in three nights... what I pay in a whole month for apartments when I stay in Thailand or Cambodia.
That was only for a few days at the A Cruise Hotel.
Thanks for your info
That’s your costs for 4 months, everyone’s costs differ greatly, mine for example are nowhere same as yours at all. All depends on standards and where you wish to eat or how, if you want a room with a fan very basic or luxury apartment.
I think he’s aware of that
@@willwallace1614 You’d wonder though?
Phuket and the south costs a small fotune. On par with western prices and more.Gets to a point when u ask yourself is it worth it with all the disease, bacteria and hassle u have to put up with going there.
Well I for one think that's and excellent price considering you didn't add the prices of female's companionship LT or ST and the fact that you have a great big smile on your face every time you mention the fact that you left the ladies out of that part the equation ! I was just there for 16 nights and 13 of them was spent at the High Roller Club in Pattaya so you certainly have reason to be smiling because it was very satisfying to say the least .
Thanks, mate. Good to hear from you.

Fantastic Eddie 👍👍
Thankyou.

Asian hostels cost me
Thanks for your info.
yeah, that's what I usually do, tho I have a couple Thai families I stay with up in Issan.
Thanks from Chicago!

So what you think doing his videos then , he was getting money from You tube and live streams to help with the cost of 4 months in paradise.
Awesome, exactly what I was after, perfect and upto date info
Glad it helped!

I'm really torn I make $6900 U.S. in pension at age 50 however if I hold on until 57 I will get a second pension and the total will be closer to $10,000 a month. With the recent increases in inflation I think it is smarter to keep working for a few more years.
I retired at age 50
Taking 6k a month.
I'm currently in Tbilisi Georgia in eastern Europe
Moving back to Thailand by end of the year retirement visa.......
Great info, lovely

Eddie, when you only had 30 day visa exemption on arrival, did you have any trouble when trying to board the flight in the UK , given you had a return flight booked for 3 to 4 months later, as i have heard they can refuse boarding if you dont have an exit or return flight before the end of the visa you are traveling on, so 30 days in your case?
I actually had a flight to Cambodia booked after 30 days which later cancelled. They didn't ask to see it.
Pain in the arse trying to cover all these rules.
good video mate people always used to ask me how much do I need my reply was always how the f£#@ do I know how much YOU'LL need, with regards to flights they seem no more expensive than they were when I first went in 2006
guessing you stayed away from those gold shops lol!!!
Yes, they used to say the flight was the expensive part. Now the flight is reasonable and it's the spending that's more expensive.
Hey mate, loved your vlogs. Great to see you back in travelling mode again. What visa did you obtain to stay 4 months mate?
Just apply at a visa centre in Pattaya they will do it for you

Best way to get value is always monthly accommodation over daily. Staying in 1 place for 4 months & supermarket access means you'll make your money go much further.
What you're describing is 'perpetual tourist' mode & spending a lot of times carting your luggage around the country.
Monthly rate accommodation can be 33% of daily cost & more likely to get bigger fridge/ cooking facility.
Just got to choose a good location (Phuket?) & can move between monthlies if you really need.
