Funko wasn't going to lose the license, but their product line is going to be more limited. I wouldn't be surprised if the action figures get canned after this. Funkos got like 2 more batches of stuff before the master license change takes effect, but according to MR Springs, Funkos master license is what enabled them to produce the articulated figures, and while other companies have made figures, they are all extremely stylized, which COULD have something to do with how the license is handled. If not though its strange how it applies to figures and not splushies. again I'm not sure how or why, but it is interesting to make note of!
Have you seen leokimvideo jazwares adventure fin’s leg broke because of quality control problem funko have similar issue of fnaf action figure cracking and realising those are display not play. While other funko type figures 13 inch figure was interesting choice making Lower jaw move which some fans wanted the the grey joints buzz lightyear style instead of ball joints. If jazwares make fnaf figure accurate look to game and nobody wants ar skins figures funko did very taxi(another meaning of wasted)
The TLDR is that no, Funko is NOT losing the license, but they no longer have the masters license. They have at least 2 more batches of merchandising before the masters license switch is finished.

Its basically saying "Hey toy company, You are our MAIN toy company." Funko produced so much different stuff because they had the master license, but now that they dont have it anymore, their production will slow and Jazwares will produce tons of stuff the way Funko did in the beginning.
Low key I think jazwares would do better people just hate the idea of having to restart I don’t like how funko makes the action figures I think it’s stupid they can come apart sure swapping the pieces is fun but the ball holders are prone to breaking after a while when doing it.
All Funko does is make recolours when they have nothing to produce we have 2 fnaf 3 characters we have no withered plushies u can make nightmare freddy Bonnie foxy and cupcake but no Chica like what oh yea Funko I love getting a freddy that's blue like what u can't even make a rockstar Bonnie or Chica can someone tell me why toy freddy and OG freddy colors are reversed we have no really good plushies besides the fnaf moive cupcake and now they put the flappy hooks on the Foxys I'm surprised they still have a license -pls consider dropping a like this took long to write
They make tons of products for different IPs every month! So that’s not exactly an excuse for them not making product. FNAF was one of their top selling IPs in the last few years.
I am hopeful that funko takes time to make good stuff again (not the snaps) also I really miss the mcfarland sets and I wish I got more of them in the past because jeez those prices for after sale suck. Also fnaf squish-mellows I am hyped. Finally my local targets have been bare when it comes to fnaf merch and when the sister location wave came out I was not able to get them at the time and i tried to convince a family member but did not work and they had 3 lolbits and now after sale they go for a slightly more reasonable price then the shadow freddy plush I am still salty about that to this day.
The company that manages the FNaF brand, which includes handling merchandising rights now. Scott doesn't do all of that now, he's just too busy to do that. It was Striker who gave the master license to Jazwares, not Scott Cawthon himself.
