The Lean was first done with wires in the Video and later it was the shoes that had bolt in them to complete the illusion. The lights flicker a bit in the Dangerous tour so you cannot see Michael slide his shoes into position on the Stage. Lolll that reminds me, my Uncle has 90s footage of Michael FAILING The Lean.... I bet a vast majority of you commenting don't even dance. Honestly, it is pretty hard to go in front of a large crowd of people ( it being middle school kids judge you way harder) and perform in front of them. It's because he knows one bad move, and people won't stop talking s*** for weeks about it. That's how kids are, they are mean. So for him to not lose his cool in front of all those kids is amazing. I am a dancer, love the stage, and love to perform, but even sometimes when I look at a crowd, I kind of get nervous. So show him some respect!
