been struggling so bad with this today , that I thought I would have a heart attack , but I'm tired of intrusive thoughts , this prayer was for me , in a big way . Praise God ,
I used to struggle with this But now I get excited when I get intrusive thoughts cos I come out stronger EVERY TIME. The key is to go into prayer mode, and really you have to know that moments of weakness are approved by God before they happen, otherwise 5hey would never be there. My weapon is prayer, but not of another person praying for me or me praying for myself...I pray for others tat are in the thoughts and believers at large but my prayer has 2 important components: it is specific to the thought or what I see in my head and also I throw in lots of scripture. Like if I suddenly randomly have as part of the flooding thoughts, a girl and boy naked I start warfare on adultery and ask God to help believers all over the world to stop sexual sin because their bodies are the temple of the Lord. I would also ask God to help young people preserve themselves and fill their hearts with the word of God because then they will be able to defeat the enemy...see, things like these. It works almost like magic after the 4th or fifth prayer item: the enemy will stop fighting if his work results in Good and not Torment. Somehow I think this is the solution for all christians and what's AMAZING is that it complies with scripture (Ephesians 6:18 check last part of the verse, and Rom 12:21. By the way, I welcome you to the intersession team of God ❤. Are it intrusive thoughts situations like mine?
