Mystic Bounds was my first Extreme demon, and I had a lot of fun with this, I recommend this if you like click sync and have great endurance (since its like about 5-6 minutes long)
I believe mystic bounds is harder than acu since the amount of nerve control you need for mystic bounds is quite a lot. And I suck at XXL level as well 😢
I recommend "Decay" It has no spikes at all, it's synced very well, it has tricky gameplay, and it's very fun to play, it has some choke points but i think it's easier than Acu.

So when I first heard of mystic bounds being 5 minutes long, I expected the difficulty to be " spread out " just like you said. Unfortunately, the difficulty is still hard even if you make the level shorter. There are a bunch of cancerous timings here and there, and the gameplay is like nothing you have seen before! Which means no amount of practice on ship straight fly or wave, for example, will prepare you for this level. Now sure, the level does get quite consistent but this is only once you literally study the gameplay for a thousand years! If I want to do an XXL extreme demon where the difficulty actually is spread out, I would rather stick to The Lost Existence by JonathanGD. Sure, the level is unbalanced and has a bunch of annoying sections where you can die easily (*cough the first wave cough*), but at least the gameplay is way more straightforward and I know what I'm supposed to do... Edit: I know all of this may just be my skill issue though...
in my opinion, penombre is the easiest extreme demon in the game as it is very sight readable, very consistent and it’s quite short. i beat it as my 4th extreme demon and it only took 620 attempts.
well actually this question cant be answered because everyone has their different skillsets - if someones good at xl levels theyll find butiti 3 to be the easiest one while others dont, if youre good at timings youd acu is the easiest and if youre good at flowy gameplay youd say reverence is the easiest it really goes infinite lol but good video nonethless

I would also say any platformer extreme demon will be easier too. I'd say anything easier than free solo is definitely easier than acu.
