But he's going in to guys that have some high school level wrestling to none at all. And that's like a Mayweather sparring with your local Smokers tournament winner. He's going to hit someone's radar that is like a D-1 college level guy that's going to come to take his 1,000 bucks and then you'll see it will be a stale mate with each guy struggling to get a shot off. And believe it or not there are a lot of D-1 , 2 and 3x national title winners or Olympic medalists that will make this guy look the way he just made the big guy in this clip look. Seriously. You get to Olympic freestyle medalist level, and they are in the matrix, make this guy look slow-mo. Seriously.

In a straight up wrestling match, this makes perfect sense because 90% of his weight advantage is reduced by technique and what is obviously a complete absence of technique by an amateur. His size with even a little bit of trading would have a far easier time. Also, in a straight up fight, clutching and strikes would be significantly dangerous against the guy like that, but still in incredible wrestling performance.

Plenty of good wrestlers in UFC that are just avg strikers that beat great strikers. Hard to strike from the ground on your stomach or back. A good wrestler wouldnt give your avg guy on the street a chance to hit him on their feet. One swing and miss your on the ground and probably getting pounded!!
Stopping that speed of a takedown gives the best strikers in the world problems. Your avg street tough guy would get demoralized by a wrestler in a street fight. Just watch the video of the 2 little wrestlers who ground and pounded the big oklahoma football player in the bathroom of the bar.
99% of most people have zero clue the ability of a high level wrestler. If a wrestler becomes a good striker then they are deadly.
