From what I've gathered it appears these Apple A1225 computers go for about 100-200 dollars and feature a whopping 2GBs of RAM. Even for 2007/2008, that's a laughably low amount of RAM for the original retail price. Apple back then was trash in terms of speed and performance.
Reminds me of my stupid computer at home that has difficulty turning on sometimes, and it buffers, and some of the letters on the keyboard work occasionally, same with the spacer bar.

And iMacs are modular when the back cover is taken off so the user can expand this iMac to 8MB of RAM and even replace the SONY-NEC hard drive with a Samsung SSD and have an installation DVD ready to install Mac OS X and have a usable browser for older mid to late '07 iMacs like Arctic Fox and productivity software like MS Office 2008. There are some mid-90's Apple Macs that uses a CRT display made by LG Electronics. The Win 11 computer I have is an Acer Aspire XC and with its D-SUB connector, I use an LG Flatron L1730S 5:4 LCD monitor from 2004.
The office man has had it with windows and decided to switch to apple! He paid $2000 for his iMac, but unfortunately, poor man got ripped off as it ended up DOA. Apple Care didn't even help him at all! Poor man spent so much money for a brick.

Apple did subcontract with LG-Philips LCD (LPL) hence why the display panel is an LG-Philips that was used on their iMacs.
So that explains the strenght of the glass
