Lottie breaks down how to best fuel with food and the importance of a healthy diet. The meal is beneficial for the body, regardless of eating with sports, but that eating benefits the mind, not only athletes, the mind and the decision. Not a word about plant-based food, so much for this "Nutritionist". The meat industry is the biggest polluter out there right now, so talking about sustainability while avoiding the elephant in the room doesn't work anymore.
A plant-based diet is definitely the diet that we encourage. You are right that we could have mentioned it way more in the episode. Lottie's recipes are actually mostly plant-based as she mentions it at the end of the episode. Her Instagram account is also 'runningonveggies' for this exact reason 🤗
We were definitely not trying to avoid the elephant in the room but could have included it more in the episode. Thank you for your feedback 🥦🍆🥕🥬
