She shot extremely well and was super efficient. , Steph Curry and many other top shooters are rhythm shooters and once they get into their rhythm And hitting shots you keep putting the ball in their hands by running picks and screens. They DONT take the ball out of their hands. Sides doesn’t know how to coach CC!

Obviously, the game fell apart quickly, momentum shifted and they couldnt get back on tract. ,........So, to me Sides and Caitlin sound like they are sending a message to Wheeler that she will be a guard, ,but Caitlin will play point guard.and control the game.

My brother went to Iowa and he now lives in London. He said there are three pubs within walking distance that play Fever games. That's a big deal in my opinion. Nobody is watching the Dub, they're all security guards watching CCTV.

Neither team is good enough to do much this season anyway, so it's like a scrimmage against a team that hates you. Sides can't rotate and dig into her roster. 1st 5 & +2 tired by the 4th. Bad habits are hard to change - CC's teammates go on SELFISH plays among themselves when Fever is leading w/c is evident in past games. Fever w/ CC calling the offense produce points and must play as a TEAM (watch the Assist column on stats). Sides and coaching staff MUST spot these problems in the course of the game and RECTIFY the issue. Sides, based on her answer, is still restraining CC from shooting at will.
The truth is Sides doesn't like CC and she's doing everything she can to destroy her career in the WNBA and she doesn't mind destroying the team to achieve her ends.

Basketball may be the most difficult game to coach at any level. With almost any other game you can take the individual athlete aside and talk right in their ear. In basketball, none of that is possible. You are also sitting courtside as if you are playing the game. Unless you are a very calm and introspective type individual, that coaching position is not for you. Sides made it clear in earlier interviews that she was looking for someone to get the ball to Boston. That would explain why she is not utilizing CC and is wasting her talent on the floor. Either make CC the boss on the floor or allow her to find a team that is better suited.

I just don't understand how the 22yo answers these questions by taking personal accountability...& I mean complete, actual personal accountability, while her not 22yo coach is only interested in tossing said hyper-star under the nearest high-capacity transportation vehicle. Sides is a joke of a coach, The front office of indiana is a joke. Build around Boston that is fine, Taylor and Clark would have made that possible and made Indiana a great team but the Fever is used to the welfare check from the NBA and not try and win any games, get the 1st pick every year and still win 10 games a season.

@@MJ-uf9tl CC threw 3 brilliant passes to mitchell last game, 2 for wide open layups and 1 for a wide open 3,,, she failed to catch 2 and barely caught the third, The whole fever team cant catch there were about 6 great passes dropped by her teammates whom were wide open if they caught the ball!!. CC's turnovers are a result of the inability of her teammates to catch the freakn ball
Celeste Taylor is the best defensive player on the team... and she's the best looking. So, there's a lot of hatred there. She was good friends with CC. The sabotage continues!!

I just don't understand how the 22yo answers these questions by taking personal accountability...& I mean complete, actual personal accountability, while her not 22yo coach is only interested in tossing said hyper-star under the nearest high-capacity transportation vehicle. That collapse is on the coach, & eff the defense, it had more to do with offense, because you told CC to go stand in the corner instead of playing the beautiful point she'd been playing all game long. Collapses are a part of basketball, they just are, but this one was especially preventable & solvable in real time, & because they've got a subpar coach, it didn't get done. Quit gaslighting us by pretending that CC knows she has the perma-green light...bs. You actively took that from her, & now you get to live with that disaster of a result. If this is something they can actually learn from, great...we'll see.
