    My favourite tree, one thing that had me wondering was if I had one of these in my home one day would I actually ever feel safe sitting under it? if one of the fronds drops its pretty much game over, my dad has a few kentia palms in his backyard in Australia and even those spikes are enough to pierce skin especially dripping from 15m in the air, also the fact that birds cant sit/hangout in these trees is also a big negative for me living in Australia, however I did see one of your vids about squirrels burrowing inside one but we don't have any of those here lol

Unfortunately two of them already died. The other ones i would like to trim them right. Could i send you some pics and would you give me some good advice?

    Not only these palms, Even my Medjool Date Palms and some Sylvaster Palms in my Neighbourhood are big Needle Makers..on the leaf basis, especially on dead leaves they are so hard..

    Superb job. Must take a lot of experience to take enough fronds off but not too many. First class👍

    There's a cool song named "Mañana"! Mañana is good enough for me! "The window she is broken and the rain is comin' in
    If someone doesn't fix it I'll be soaking to my skin
    But if we wait a day or two the rain may go away
    And we don't need a window on such a sunny day"
    Haha!

    I wonder how much it costs to have a 10-foot canary date palm trimmed and trunk skinned.

      Chain stores most often sell weak and non acclimatized material. Water well and cross your fingers for recovery.

      @@ScaryHairyGary thank you, do you sell some of these king palms at the Richmond nursery? Or foxtail palms?

    • @ScaryHairyGary
      @ScaryHairyGary  3 года назад

      Yes, we have lots of kings. And no we don’t have Foxtails as they seem to not do so well here in nor cal

    • @Eddiegbaby
      @Eddiegbaby 3 года назад

      As far as the kings, what are the sizes? Do you guys carry like 4-5ft trunk or are they smaller like the ones in the box stores? The ones I bought were 3 kings in a pot trunk about a a foot and half. That’s the biggest I could find.

      @@ScaryHairyGary also I was told they tend to grow about 20ft in my area. Any truth in that?

    Nice job! They look beautiful. Everytime you throw a handful of dates in your mouth I'm afraid you are going to joke on one. It's all I think about 😄
