Thanks for this fair and objective review, Antonio! Enjoying the TinHiFi P1 Max based on your fine recommendation! It's my favourite IEM of 2022! Take Care & Enjoy 2023!
It's always interesting to get the take of experienced reviewers like you on mainstream/classic iems such as the Xelento. A few others that come to mind are the Shure SE846 and the Senheiser IE Series (ie800s, ie900, ie600, etc.). Many thanks, and happy new year!
Happy New Year! These Tesla drivers from Beyerdynamic are very good. I know them from my DT1990 Pro and Aventho Wireless. Since the release of the Xelento 2 I'm looking for a FR graph which is nowhere to be found. I even asked their support to provide one to no avail.
Thanks a lot for the detailed review. What can you tell me about driver flex on the Xelento, and would there be a way to prevent it from happening? Mines had it quite badly on the right side after laying around at about 16 to 18 degrees Celcius for a couple of months, and completely went away after about two days of normal use. I've heard that dynamic drivers tend to get that, but since this happened with the driver flex I'm a little anxious about it coming back.
If that was true this product has a huge margin value. OEM, slap a brand on it, profit. Wonder when someone published what model dynamic driver is inside.
The version of the xelento you have there is the 1st generation (which you can get new on Amazon for around £500). The latest (2nd generation) is about £900 which doesn't have as good reviews. Probably based on that price! On that basis the one you have there would be up against the Variations and the Oracle. I have the first generation xelento and it is very good technically but you are right. It doesn't have the wow factor in any of the frequency range. It is just extremely competent in all areas (typically German) but music listening is subjective and the best iems have something that stands out above others (it may even depend on your musical taste). I have the Xenns Top on order and believe that will be better than my Xelento in some way. A lot of my music library is female singers (different genres).
Beyerdynamic fan, still I have skipped their IEM release. Always felt the MSRP was to high going by reviews. First gen xelento can be had quite cheap on the second hand market these days.
My first real IEMs were Beyerdynamic Byrons. Big bass, soft and dark sound, nothing special. They cost about 30 euros at the time. They died after a year.

I will publish the graph on FB. I'll send you link
hello do you plan to compare the xelento from XLS (aliexpress) vs an actual xelento? 😁
Would love to hear your views on the Xelento 2

Too rich for my blood Toni. Great thorough review though. Happy new year my friend.
Looks like blon made This iem 😂

😂
Yep thats because blon copied the xelento shell.
@@alexeiboukirev8357 its the opposite. Blon plagiarized xelento design. Xelento was released back in 2016 btw

2:34 some of us drives Uber
Why didn't you compare Hana 2021 with those?
I did not compare only because it would drag the review. Hana 2021 I'd a more fun sounding IEM.....Xelento more correct sounding in the mids.
Between this or oriolus isabelea or mega 5p which one will you pick Tony?
Feliz ano novo querido
