- The Anime here is based on the Romace of the Three Kingdom written by Luo Guanzhong (I got this from Wikipedia.) I plan to post rest of the 46 episode in time.

For more information on the Romance of the Three Kingdom:
Romance of the Three Kingdoms, written by Luo Guanzhong in the 14th century,[1] is a historical novel set amidst the turbulent years near the end of the Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms era of Chinese history, starting in 169 and ending with the reunification of the land in 280.
The story (part historical, part legend, and part myth) chronicles the lives of feudal lords and their retainers, who tried to replace the dwindling Han Dynasty or restore it. While the novel actually follows literally hundreds of characters, the focus is mainly on the three power blocs that emerged from the remnants of the Han Dynasty, and would eventually form the three states of Wei, Shu, and Wu. The novel deals with the plots, personal and army battles, intrigues, and struggles of these states to achieve dominance for almost 100 years. This novel also gives readers a sense of how the Chinese view their history in a cyclical lens. The famous opening lines of the novel summarize this view: It is a general truism of this world that anything long divided will surely unite, and anything long united will surely divide.

You really can't expect them to uniform everyone. They probably used the same dyed cloth/ armor because it was the cheapest around, and trying to change the whole army just cost too much to just know who is part of your army and who is not (since often in civil war time you don't know what unit/troops will abandon you).

Great anime version of the ROTK story so far but one thing has been bothering me for a while: why do all the soldiers look so miscellanious in their uniforms. I mean, shouldn't they have at least worn a similar colour armour/cloth or something so everyone knew they were from Cao Cao's or Liu Bei's army. Very confusing, I wonder if anyone else has noticed this.

Плюс, такую причину показали в фильме Троецарствие:Возрождение(или Воскрешение, в зависимости от перевода) дракона 2008 года

張郃、正史ではかなり有能な武将のはずだがな。ここの張郃はただの雑魚化してしまったかわいそうな武将の一人。
