Did anybody recognize part of the drum solo was from the Reilly Raiders drum and bugle Corps back in the late 50s, was written by John Dowling may he rest in peace he was a good friend of mine in Florida, he's also responsible for developing back sticking techniques use still today. Former member of the Long Island Sunrisers 1964 through 1968. Also John Dowling and myself started American Spirit drum and bugle Corps alumni organization, in Florida Tampa Bay area
Yeah, I felt that solo was very familiar but I didn't associate it with the Hurks. Then reading this post I was reminded it was Reilly's Grey Ghost. I played it every meeting of the USARD convention's massed drumming. Actually it was written by Harold Ginther. I have the charts for the piece here: usard.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/reilly_combined.pdf
The CT Hurricanes are absolutely amazing! Their signature song, Hang 'Em High" always gives me chills! May the CT Hurricanes live on forever! Salud per chen don!
The drum feature brought back memories of the Hurcs incredible drum quartet of the late 60s. I've never gotten over that. Ray Luedee was a genius. Nice update on the old Mag 7 chart.

Yeah they are the DCA which makes the NORTHEAST proud. This tuba (contra) is the best in years. Listen to them all and tell me wrong, TY
