Awesome! So simple, and yet so lovely. The whole time I was watching, I took note of how you applied the pastels to the board (hard sticks to soft, darks to lights, how you primarily blended the colors on top of each other rather than making overuse of your fingers,etc.). It was so informative, and inspirational. Thank you!
Thanks for this Marla. Your demo was perfectly timed for use during my "small squares" lesson yesterday--along with showing my students the three paintings I bought from you at IAPS in 2013, I was able to show them this demo too. They did some nice work as a result! Great exercise is experimenting with colors while keeping values consistent. Happy holidays!
