No offence but if we had heath ledger his own joker movie, he could have done it better. But phoenix was phenomenal in the movie. He was way more realistic and that was nice😁
@@Gkm- Nobody’s saying Joaquin phoenix isn’t a great actor, I think in movies like The Master and Her, he easily gave some of the best performances I’ve ever seen, and I definitely think he’s a more talented actor now than Heath Ledger was. My problem with his take on the character comes more from the script than anything, I just don’t think Todd Phillips is nearly as good at writing dialogue or collaborating with actors in a way that really enhance their performances as someone like Nolan. For me, there were quite a few scenes in Joker where I thought his delivery sounded a little forced, or it felt kinda obvious weather Joaquin was improvising or just reading off a script, and honestly, I think the little guy gave the most natural feeling performance in that film. With Ledger in TDK, I easily think that his best performance, and at no point in that film did I ever think any of his dialogue felt unnatural or could’ve come from anyone but his character in that moment.
I don't believe an actor can be that outstanding, I've watched The Joker twice, it's an absolutely amazing masterpiece, I can't stop watching. Every scene tears up my heart into small pieces. Joaquin is so natural in each emotion, he conveys the emotions flawlessly. Often there is no need to say a word, fine mimic muscles scream louder than the voice can. The transformation of Arthur is 100% understandable and can't be explained better. I am happy that I have several movies with Joaquin I haven't seen before and this pleasure is still waiting for me ahead.
Probably my favourite movie. Mostly because I worked in MH for over 20+ years but because Eminem is a brilliant poet and voyeur of this life we live. He superbly puts it to music and it transcends generations. I’m 66 and love him.
This song makes me feel so much less alone. It’s so comforting. It makes me feel like I’m the person he’s talking about and just brings a smile to my face no matter how sad/ mad I am. Such an amazing song❤
