普段、蜂対策はしていないんですが、
四角豆の葉っぱを切り取ってせっせと運んでいくリーフカッタービーと呼ばれている蜂があまりに切り取るスピードが早いので、一度だけ切り取っていく付近の葉っぱにニームスプレー（ニームオイルを水で薄めたもの）をしたら寄りつけない様子だったことあります。

シロアリ考えたことなかったです！確かにシロアリが湧いたら怖いですよね・・・
調べると湿っぽく柔らかい木が好みだとか。。
木の表面に塗料を塗ったり、なるべくプランターの表面を乾燥させたり（日に当てたりして）の対策を取るのが良いのかなと思いました！

私の手持ちの種は7月〜8月、時なしタイプで9月くらいまでのようです。
10月でも芽は出るのではと思うのですが、ミニ人参だったらどうでしょう？
