Marmelete - Algarve Barlavento - Typical traditional house

Recently unhabited residence in a small town in the high side of Algarve, near Monchique, north of Portimão and Lagos.
Heard rumors that it was purchased by a foreigner and it might turn into something else soon.
There are many empty and abandoned buildings in the region, due to local population decline (moving to the coast, bigger cities, and abroad)
Ironically, nowadays, the new residents are almost all foreigners looking for a place in the sunny, quiet corner of Europe
