Yes, some late-game strategy errors there for sure. But Bradshaw's '74 numbers are on the iffy side. Might use that end-game scenario for some scrimmaging to test some possible outcomes.
@@apbafootballclub411 I never use the shaker for allocation, index, alignment, even penalties - I roll all that stuff by hand; I only use the shaker for the actual play -
@@apbafootballclub411 Geoff Note I Now use (I think P Molloys Penalty charts) which ALLOW the Offense to Decline a Pass Interference in the End Zone which is a TD . Checks Gregs Website - I swear by that (I think more realistic) Penalty System!! Great Game!!
Killer Job on this!!!! So thrilling to watch and no long pauses like in the NFL on TV, LOL. I have one question though that I get confused on with APBA football - On Kickoffs Def Kicks and Off Receives but on the return who is Def and who is on offense??? Same on punts - I know Off Kicks and Def Receives but on the return does it switch where the return team beocmes the offense and the coverage team becomes defense? Any help would be appreciated !!!
Nice job Geoff, love calling the games while playing, so fun! How can I learn about that custom made field, looks awesome….other than that nasty graffiti in the end zone and at mid field!
The field was a gift from Greg Barath, one of the many he owns. He began creating them by using artwork from a couple of folks (Grant Baker and Art Hill), but I don't see that those files are available. You can see all Greg's custom fields, many featuring the old dirt patterns, at his website (oguard62net). I had saved down a bunch of images of vintage 1970s NFL fields to potentially create my own artwork. Bobby Porter also has a number of custom fields; you can work with local printers to get them mounted on whatever materials you prefer. I had found a website a year or two ago that showed vintage NFL fields for many decades, but I seem to have misplaced the URL; will try to hunt it down and post here.
Got lucky and found it on my second attempt: gridiron-uniforms.com/fields/controller/controller.php?action=main. Haven't had contact with them as yet but could be a resource for having your own fields made.
This is a good point! I found a mistake I made in another video, too. I can crank this game back up and give the Packers the first and goal, delay the inevitable another tick.
Its like Marv Albert is calling the game Great job!!!
Nice! Love that APBA Pro Football simulation.
Good game Geoff. Hate wasting 66's on allocation rolls! Should have gone all passes at the end!

There should be a time limit to making decisions and throwing the die. Otherwise a delay in the game. 30 seconds should be long enough.
Geoff - that PI in the endzone on the TD technically "has to be accepted" as PI in the endzone; should have placed the ball at the 1 YL -
