Thanks for keeping the train vids coming. I always wish they would beef of that horn on that engine, sounds so weak. A bit of snow you had... we got 10in here in Center Harbor, NH yesterday... Winter is here... I'm sure will be coming to your neck of the woods soon. Be Crazy!
A Mrs Tooth video filmed back during warmer times wlith a great set of power and DPU a treat just like homemade cookies. Very nice catch of the GP15 under all the looming storm clouds which enhance the mood. That broadside on the bridge shows the great lines and size of a true older mill gon. Then added with the telephoto View that train is like the perfect capture of the hot metal trains that were operated by Interlake Steel are the south side of Chicago. At that time Conrail used GP15s and the idlers on the hot metal cars were former EJ&E mill gons. Looks like the cold wave starts today so make sure the mittens are handy and have a hot cocoa. A fine post Thanksgiving treat. Thanks!
Nice train chase on CCET. Looked cold out there with the snow coming down. We had some snow over here in Yorkshire UK last week. It's amazing how 4 inches of snow can stop modern life when you have steep hills all around and not much snow clearance! We had minus 9 degrees C (about 17 degrees F) last Wednesday. Our coldest November day for many years. I love seeing the CCET trains on the Peavine. It's a lovely rail line with lots of scenic spots to film.
How far do you live from Georgetown Ky. I’ve worked there a few times…. Loved the snow on today’s video. I hope Thanksgiving was good for you and your family. Now we all get delicious LEFTOVERS. Great video.
I saw a Norfolk Southern GP38 and it was carrying white clean boxcars and at the end I saw maintenance car! What it looks like to me it's a maintenance train and it's was booking JT I mean what is the hurry! Literally! 😂 I hope you enjoy your morning JT! 😄
Hope you had a great thanksgiving bud, bridges 🌉 are awesome it's a shame to see them looking like that surely they could spruce them up, great captures bud, be safe out there in that mixed weather ❄️
Thank you great set of videos. Interesting short line. Plus CSX heritage. Sad line will never be a through route again. But thankfully the remains see good traffic.😊
Ya it's turned winter on us JT slice of pumpkin pie and coffee ☕️ watching trains love the cincy short line thanks for the dedication to the vidios bundle up 😊
Another great video! I love the cold, snowy scenes because here in south Florida we never get that. Come on down and make some more FEC/Brightline videos!
Nice little acknowledgement from the first train!! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Brian!! Don't gove those pups too much turkey, your nose may regret it! Lol. Great video catches, as usual. We appreciate you freezing to bring us some cool trains. ✌️
Good morning my friend I hope you and your family had a good Thanksgiving, hop on the train and head for Christmas. Have a good rest of your week and God bless🙏🏻🇺🇸
In Sardinia on Main at the tracks the grain elevator spur you mentioned ended there by the street. Well, on the south side of the tracks was another spur that switched off the main from the west and crossed main street alongside the main. This spur was there in the 1950s but gone in the 60s. Any idea what that was? Anything left of it? It paralleled that grain spur on the other side of the main and looks like it only went about 20 yards past Main St. toward the wye before it ended, not sure.
