Now he’s back at Yankee Stadium unfortunately but instead of being No 20 due to the No 20 being retired by Jorge Posada he worn No 28 the same number Joe Gerardi worn as the manager after wearing No 25 and No 27, Josh Donaldson got a walk off grand slam later in the 2022 season that’s all he needed to do to bring the game to an end and win it against the Rays, now I was at that game originally seated on the upper deck but we relocated to level 1 and we saw the final hit that was a walk off grand slam to make this game be won by the Bronx Bombers we cried in tears of joy finding out that we got a walk off grand slam and won the game and we hugged each other real hard and gave hard pats on the back because this was a really great moment for us Bombers (Yankees) fans that night, we spread the word out to everyone we know and we were so proud of the Yankees that this was a great hit that Donaldson got to win it, one of my friends called me while at the Yankees-East 153rd Street station waiting for the uptown express to Southeast which was the direct Harlem line that was a clipper to Yankee Stadium same with the New Haven line and we played the final hit of the game over and over again on the train heading home from Yankee Stadium, we couldn’t believe it at all. I even went to the double header game at Yankee Stadium but missed the first game because my brother didn’t get out of school on time to catch the clipper or even the regular Harlem line train from Crestwood to Yankees-East 153rd Street or at Melrose so we took the 4 train from Woodlawn to Yankee Stadium at 161st Street and walked across the street then we met up at section 203 with two of our friends again, we won the entire double header game, same with a number of games except for August 16th 2022 I went to a total of 12 games the 12th game was virtual for the postseason
I know I commented about this on a separate video, but I was at a road game against the Orioles in July and me and a few Yankees fans there were making the sound whenever the orioles had 2 strikes on them!
Yeah, the MLB wanna be all woke and then it's ok for city's to play sounds that are meant to get on the opposing teams nerves. It's like, don't be a bully, but it's ok if we're a bully. Nice sportsmanship, but what more do you expect from NY?
