Some people are just too ignorant. The money we spend in thrift stores goes to poor people. I been homeless myself, and i do not think you should be ashamed of buying stuff in a thrift store, you should feel proud and happy. I am happy that you shop there rather than buying new stuff. It is better for our planet to buys stuff there, and most of the old toys are riddled with toxic plastic that you should never expose your kids too.

I got a American girl doll at my thrift store for 2.00 brand new in box and 3 li v dolls for 99. Cents each and they had their wigs surprisingly and their clothes
Two nights ago i bought a 2 dollar Totally hair Barbie from the 90's. She was missing the dress and hair was ratty. Gave her a shampoo and condition and braided her hair in small braids and waited for the hair to dry before taking out the braids and now she looks FAB💗UL💗OUS!!!!💖💖💖. Thanks Value Village!!

Lucky! Here in hungary where i live we only have flee markets and i mostly find knock-off barbies or dolls with really bad quality, (altough some of the knock-offs are pretty i gotta admit) but still not as good as thrift stores.

I trying to custom my first barbie which was a shrek barbie but I had cut her hair after getting so many because I didn't have a guy doll also her head got split so I'm still trying get or find good hair to put on the doll
Actually, someone in a Pullip Facebook Group found a lot of Pullips and BJDs at their local thrift store. It can happen. People pass away and their family members donate them because they don't know their worth. I'm always on the lookout for anything interesting at the thrift stores, including Pullips (hence the title, Pullip hunting).
I think it depends on the thrift store. I haven't noticed any fake toys at mine. I enjoy it because you can always find an unexpected treasure! Thanks for watching.
