I was waiting for you to mention the texture shift on the legendaries. I noticed it on my first pack opened. Such a nice small addition. I can’t wait until they start adding full cart texture. Great set and great opening. Keep up the great work you two.
My daughter found some pretty cool card connections. Minnie and Mickey dancers are the same artwork and the cards can connect. 7 cards relate to the same food fight! Clarabelle, Food Fight!, Minnie Mouse invention, Pete, Mickey Mouse defender, Daisy Duck food and Duck For Cover! Finally. flora Merryweather and Fauna are literally the same art cut in three!!!
I ended up getting a Clarabelle enchanted from my own opening! 5 legendaries from a BB and an enchanted Clarabelle and 2 legendaries from a trove. I gotta say, I LOVE how they embossed the legendaries now. It really adds some oomph to their cards. Like you really feel you got a special card
In order of preference for me I'd like to pull : 1) Finders keeper (chase) 2) Mufasa 3) Robin hood 4) Scar 5) donald duck 6) Royal tantrum It's the first time in my entire life where my chase is not the most expensive card. In fact, seems to be the least and somehow this makes me even more stoked for this set! Also, PIXAR was announced this weekend at the D23 Expo for 2026

I am so excited to see everyone’s pulls! I opened my first booster case and pulled 19 legendaries (three cold foiled ones) but unfortunately no enchanted in my case. Gotta admit that hurts to say-lol! But I was able to preorder both mats for this release from Target, so I’m thrilled over that! Your new mat looks amazing!!!

So I bought a booster box [my first booster box for any TCG. I never even bought one when I was heavy into collecting Pokémon cards lol]. I also got a trove and my LGS is going to put their only Encanto playmat they’re getting later this month aside for me. Anyways within my box and trove I pulled five legendaries [Mirabel, Jafar x2, Robin Hood, and Anna] and then I managed to get what I have been lead to believe is a high amount of foil rares and super rares. No enchanteds unfortunately, but that’s okay because I’m bound to pick up some extra packs because I made a brand new deck by modifying one of the new starter decks pretty heavily and there’s a couple cards I’d like for it (though I could also just buy them via singles from my LGS) I have also been looking forward to this video all week because you’re my favorite Lorcana content creator to watch open packs because you don’t care much about gameplay and you just appreciate the cards, even the ones that don’t seem that impressive. And even though I also play the game it’s always fun to just appreciate the cards as I started collecting the cards just to collect them and it wasn’t until my cousin convinced me to give playing the game a chance that I did so (This comment has been edited multiple times at this point because I got little to no sleep last night thanks to my dog waking me up at 5:30 to go bathroom and then he refused to go bathroom and I couldn’t get back to sleep so I’m tired and kept making mistakes or forgetting stuff I wanted to say.)

I'm getting great pulls with this set. My trove had 3 legendaries, and both of my boxes had 4 legendaries and an enchanted. I pulled enchanted Mufasa and Archimedes. They are so beautiful. I'm still hoping for a Clarabelle.
We only opened one trove and managed to pull Prince Naveen Legendary, Robin Hood Sharpshooter Legendary and Anna Legendary Foul. We can’t wait to open more in the future☺️
Pulls seem better with this set. A trove and 5 packs split between 2 stores got us 5 legendary and an enchanted. One pack had two, non foil legendary cards.
Inkability is a brutal limitation for sure. You never want to run more than 10-15 in a deck. Well, almost never, it’s a big limitation for sure. Not being able to ink anything really sucks haha

Lorcana should definitely stick with the cartoon themed cards. Introducing Marvel seems like a good way to expand the game but also damage the franchise, if they print Marvel then they need to print Star Wars. It’s a Disney card game, not Marvel and Star Wars.

The red Robin hood is just bad. He dies to everything and is uninkable. Naveen rocks. Mufasa may be to slow with the returning ink to your hand. Clarabelle is going to make an appearance in the Emerald Amythyst bounce deck. Merlin may be too early, as there are no win the game cards yet. Anna is good in green decks that don't pair with ruby or steel. You always play her on trun 5. I am also testing Jafar as a tinkerbell replacement for stabilization. He removes big Cinderella whom I think will stay in steel song decks.

Yeah during D23 they released Pixar will be abailable in 2026. Rescue Rangers is coming soon as well.
