Bro, could you maybe make a benchmark video about the last 5 drivers from amd 7900xt and compare them? I have a feeling that the latest drivers just messed up 2042 for example? Because it can't be, that you lose avg 30-50 fps... 😮
Man I need a 1440p and 7900xt. I had both 79 and 78xt delivered but returned the 7900xt only because I liked the white 7800xt. Now might return the 7800xt for either a white 7900xt or a 4070ti super. Thinking of ordering one tonight
I would grab the 4070 Ti Super in a white, I personally have the Gigabyte Gaming OC because it was open box $670 excellent condition, how do you pass that up.
@@FIVESTRZ you really can’t pass that up. I need to get one and q 1440p monitor. I know I’ve probably commented this a ton of times 😂 but is 1440p worth it?
@@Trusttheprocess927 to me it 100% is unless you're playing competitively on games where 500-600Hz monitor can impact your earnings then I would slot down to 1080P again, if you want to buy hardware every 1-2 generations tops then 4K and if you want the sweet spot then 1440P but you gotta roll 240Hz and above since they've replaced the price point of 165Hz
@@FIVESTRZ yeah 100% would get 240hz all the games I play at 1080 I get 300+ fps but my monitor is five years old now of every day consistent use so I think it’s time for a new monitor

Depends which video you watched but this is the 7900 XT not the XTX or 4090. Also the game's performance has been aweful ever since they released this season.
@@giokilldagram1233 go for it man, only issue is the rare scheduling issue on certain games where the game runs on the incorrect cores (non-vcache). I have not had anything negative to say about them as a warning. The Intel system is my ultimate system, the only knock is I wish they had 10 P Cores like the 10900K did but at this rate keeping it cool is a full time job
What you mean? I get very similar performance to when I was at 6000C28 but with a fraction of the voltage, productivity is a bit snappier from the almost 2GHz increase as well. Best performance I had this kit at was 6000C26 and 6200C28 but was pushing voltages that without active cooling didn't make sense
@@FIVESTRZ its not about the frequencies but more about the ram kit itself. there is a reason why there is different kits for amd and intel. you would need an amd expo kit with 6000 mhz or if youre lucky and you got a silicon lottery chip you could push it to 6400 mhz. but an intel XMP kit will always perform worse paired with an x3d chip. for the normal ryzen chips its not that big of a deal when it comes to performance. but x3d does lack performance when not using an expo kit. doesnt matter if you clock your ram to 8000mhz or similar. expo 6000 or 6400 will always perform better.
You're speaking from A/B experience or are you sharing some information you learned or found out? AM5 can support up to 8000MT+ with 1/2 UCLK and the EXPO/XMP is a base setting, in my experience the type of RAM and revision you have paired with the board and CPU's memory controller is what will allow you to tighten the timings past what EXPO or XMP would have on the box and that's where your performance comes from. I have never owned an EXPO kit of RAM since the inception of AM5 because I wasn't paying the scalepd price when I got my 7950X but Hynix A die 2x16GB tuned is what these are and I've been using M-Die 2x24GB kits lately (not on this rig) which has yielded good results but I am curious to learn more about what you're talking about because I know going with 1/2 UCLK was a little bit less performant in some cases but not enought to justify the voltage like I mention. @@FIVESTRZ im talking about experience. there is lots of video comparing amd expo kits with intel xmp kits. intel xmp kits running at 8000hz and expo running at 6400hz on X3d chips. you cant even get the expo kits to go overt 6400mhz ( even 6400 is rough for x3d) xmp at 8000 mhz performs worse then expo at 6400 mhz. im not trying to offend you with anything that followsnow. do some research and you will see that there is actually a difference between amd expo and intel xmp kits. and there is a reason for the seperation since the new ddr5 ram.
Link me a video real quick, I am not offended btw. Everyday we learn something new, could be the EXPO kits don't work because because they are likely the original M-DIe kits. Those kits of RAM would be hard pressed to surpase 6600MT range but I'll give whatever you send a look

When I have a lot of downtime I can look into that. Lots of DDU but when it comes to 2042, I honestly think it’s the change to EA Anticheat
