I owned a 2 story condo with a garage in the Lakes area of Kent (2013-14) and then rented a beautiful apartment for 5 years just up the hill when my son was born back in 1985. I've also lived in Seattle on Lake Union and more recently in Everett, WA (north of Seattle) for 6 years. All cities are the same: you have your sketchy areas and your nice areas. If you're rich, you can afford safer areas. If you're lower middle class, like me, just be careful. Certain areas of Kent are nice and others are not so nice...just like any city.
I don't know why I searched for this, lol. But I've lived in Kent my whole life; 22 years. It's a great place to live. And though I would love to travel the world some day, I could never see myself leaving this area. Kent will always be home for me.
The howls of psychotic breaks in the middle of the night; gaunt, haunting figures shivering along the barren a.m. streets, and the occasional screech of tires from a car dumping a beaten, broken man into the gutter and taking off, but I still miss it.
kent wa is no longer a nice and quiet place. crime is increasing, shootings happen almost daily, loud cars speed with impunity at all times. i'm thinking in moving out of here, sadly.

This entire area had a high percentage of lesbians and many single men ordering wifes from foreign countries. Four years was enough for me living there. It rains constantly and alot of hills
Kent WA is amazing. I've been here and grew up here mostly all my life. ♥️😊
What are the best areas to live in. I am planning to move there soon and looking up places.

Lol. Anyone who tells you to move to Kent is dishonest or selling you a house. Or both
Depends on what you are willing to put up with ;)
I think it's nice town
Not a town a city
Music is way too loud, their voices fall into the background. Music is not necessary when one speaks.
