The musicality in these incredibly difficult parts is amazing. Chris has accomplished the ultimate goal- make super difficult parts sound appealing and musical. Very thankful to have seen this live
I saw them this year as well....absolutely tight and amazing! I also appreciate their past drummers but Chris is simply one of those drummers on another level. He does this band SO MUCH justice. Another drummer I love that goes to that next level (for the genre) is Alex Bent in case you have not heard of him. ruclips.net/video/eTggGQot4VA/видео.html
Something about watching Chris play doubles truly sparks joy. First noticed that flick open of the fingers watching him live and eventually realized that’s just how they’re played; but his technique is so consistent it looks frozen in time
To me, to my personal taste this is the perfect drumming. Creativity, precision, ideias, tecnique, sound, dinamic, ostinatos, polirythims, rudiments, foundations, is all there to me. Chris is on my world top 3 favourite players and will remain there with this amazing aprouch to the drums. Keep the amazing work
So I just got done with my practice for the day. I booted up ye 'ol youtube's to kill some time, came across this video. Left this comment, closed my laptop and went back to practice. Thank you for the inspiration!
Damn Chris, you're opening to the song is nothing short of AMAZING!!! What did I hear? Half time, double time, quad time over like 6 bars? .....dude just sick! :)
It was awesome meeting you after the show in Jacksonville! A real gentleman. I hope to see you guys again soon. I was the guy y'all bought the shirt for during the show. The coolest night of my life.

it's really different when you actually see what the drumer is doing and that is when you actually appreciate the dedication
Amazing !!! My favorite song 2023 !! 👍🙌🙏🤘
Wish I had Chris to listen to and learn from when I was growing up and gigging. Truly an artist.

One of my favourite songs ever!! Absolutely immaculate and mesmerising drumming
The way the tension resolves at around 3:15-3:30... gives me life, beautiful piece
This is one of my favorite songs off of the album. It’s awesome seeing you play it live. That laid-back/lag part gets me every time.
Chris your musicality never ceases to amaze - thank you for the inspiration to keep practicing!
Why doesn't he have a million subscribers?
Probably because I suck at RUclips 😂

Well it’s cool, it’s more niche & esoteric :D

My favorite song from Plini.
Love your drumming. Great musicians in Plini ❤
Watchin' Chirs playing is exceptionally satisfying
The wink, like yeah we're in the pocket
Drumming that's married to music like this makes me think of Neil Peart. Chris is becoming one of my favorites of all time. Way Cool !!

Bruh I had no idea Freddie Mercury reincarnated and was now a drummer. Silly jokes aside, this shit's amazing, man! Congrats 😊
I wonder Plini writes the drum sections or Chris writes from start to finish?
I don't know if you mixed this in post, or if this is what was recorded on the drum bus at FOH, but man it sounds good.
Mixed in post by our incredible FOH engineer Ronnie Young!
Holy hell... the triplets at 3:29... delicious
🫵🏻🙏🏻❤️
