Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Hallelujah! It's nothing but the truth that the Word of God comes to a person with the power of God through the Spirit of God can only convert the person from his or her old way of life and bring the one from the kingdom of world to the kingdom of God. I was a catholic. One day I sent some money to the priest Mathew Naikamparampil Divine Center Potta. They sent me a letter thanking me for it. They did not write anything else in it. But there printed on that inland letter the Bible verse ISAIAH 43:1-5. As I was reading the word of God, Isaiah 43:1-5, I felt the presence of LORD Jesus Christ. I couldn't understand what was happening to me. I knew that I was very very far from Him. Uncontrollable tears started flowing through my cheeks. My heart pained. I confessed my sins to Jesus Christ. Slowly my pain of heart turned sweet. And my tears turned to tears of joy. With in seconds I became a new being. I had only the Bible used by the Catholic Church with me. I started readig it. I begged LORD Jesus Christ to teach me. I did not attend any church. I sat in my home spending time reading Bible. Holy Spirit started teaching me. From that Cathlic Bible itself I learned that the Bible teaches to obey the word of God which alone is Truth. But the church trains it's members to disobey the word of God. As the preacher says, I too totally depend on the grace of God. The everlasting mercy of LORD Jesus Christ.

No wonder He was the Prince of Preacher. He really helps me to reflect my life with this doctrinal preaching which is seldom heard in churches today except for a few staunch Evangelical preachers.
