I would say that but it makes more sense in my opinion that Zayn is talking about himself and outside is reply to Falling as Harry said 'I can't unpack the baggage you left' so Zayn is saying if you can't handel it so leave my life outside leave my shit outside or let me in. Also better could be response to Falling as well you know as he talks about falling through the floor and in falling MV Harry is floating and he is saying he wants to save his tears as in Falling Harry is clearly very imotional. Where do you stand on their relationship now? I think your thoughts are good but I think that Zayn wants things both ways. He keeps waving hope in front of Harry because he loves him but due to family, anxiety and fear he keeps trying to end things but can’t let go either. This is a strong love that Harry has. I don’t think he will let go until Zayn stops this back and forth with Harry. I think sometimes Z let’s go but then brings Harry back due to jealously and need but often Faults Harry when he realizes what this relationship could due to his family relationships. It is unfair to both as no one ever gets closure.
i won't say he is doing it willing because the thing that most of zarries forget is that when z left in 2015 it clear he put a stop to their relationship because the were fooling around , i think harry is the reason he even propose to perrie , he wanted to get married and that harry and him stop what they were doing but the both couldn't.i think z was open in his non openess if i can say it like that meaning he never promise harry what he couldn't give him, it pretty clear in his lyrics and h take what he can offer , they both dive in only with hope not promise that why h lyrics exude hope not not anger that z broke some kind of promise that they will be together without bearding.and it is such a tragedy.....
i haven’t listened to everything by Zayn. i’m pretty new, i think it takes the bias out of the things i say. i’m sure he wants him around now. but i believe the point of this album was to explain how they broke up to come back together. i think this is separate from all of the other songs they made. yes, there are similarities but i don’t think this album can be lined up with other songs. this album in my head, is their ultimate explanation of what happened
