The Baja 252 Islander is power and performance in one package. Its deep-V performance hull provides precise handling and a great ride at high or low speeds. In addition, an oversized bow area and a large sport-styled cockpit ensure that the whole family can enjoy endless days of cruising or skiing on the water. Its stand up bolster seats, full-framed windshield with companionway door, and ease of operation make the 252 Islander as much fun to drive as it is to look at. A carpeted, enclosed head, CD stereo, swim platform, fold-up ladder, and storage throughout mark the 252 Islander as just the boat to cure those summertime blues.
She is well powered by a 7.4L MPI 310 horsepower Mercruiser, which sounds amazing when you have the captains call exhaust on, and propelled by the Bravo One Drive System. Love how he says 12 people can fit when boat is only rated for 8 people.
It is odd isn’t it. I sincerely believe whomever placed the plaque on at the factory that day isn’t notice the open bow. There’s no mathematical logic in the plate reading as explained in a video I made: ruclips.net/video/aIB3DHO8Cc4/видео.html

If someone got $21K for a 252 that was not in great condition, why are you selling this nice one for $20K?
JPierquet9 great question, we do high volume on low margin. We price to sell not negotiate, as well as sell over 400 pre-loved boats a year by pricing at a fair market value. 21k for the ragged out boat was asinine. It was simply an example. Is our boat priced extremely well? No sir, but it is extremely fair and reasonable. If we priced everything at the top penny or above fair market, I couldn’t feed my kids ha!
I paid 5000 in Florida 8.2 and new drive not shinny yet but runs so far
Absolutely worst boat to work on. Ask me how I know.
Oh, I've worked on much worse...try this same size boat with twin i/o and you will just want to shoot yourself.
