Alright so the new gateway skip works like this: Before you start a run, go to gateway, do the 8 capsules and beat the 8 mav refight, then reset and start your run. The game keeps in memory the fact that you beat the refight, so when you enter the stage, you start immediately at Sigma (just like how we exit and re-enter the stage and fight Sigma without the skip). It has runners divided between "make a new category" and "I don't like it so ban it waaaahhhh" without any real reason why there couldn't be a separate category.
From 47 mins to one awesome Sub-33 and World Record, it is incredible! I have watched all the speedrun videos from start (47 mins) to finish (32 mins and 59 secs) Congrats my friend!

When I saw it, I immediately thought "I didn't miss anything, did I?" Probably best to make a new category.

Thank you a lot for the explanation. It's probably easier for the runners since 8 mav fight is a lot of rng. But I think it's a fun part of the game
Eventually the author will patch it out if it even attempt to update the build.

How do you go under the conveyor belt area in the ride armour in Pandemoniums stage? 3:50
with the green mech bug. if you get in the armor before it fully collapses, it uses the collapsed armor hitbox
