I drive a private hire in Colchester, not uber but on a old fashioned minicab circuit. If i get a bad vibe about someone i demand the fare in advance as our fares are fixed & not metered. The old story my Mum will pay at the other end doesn't wash with me anymore.

I did 5 years PHV in a rural area of Scotland a few years back and only had 1 bilker in all that time. It was 3 local lads just messing about and the boss got the money they owed a few days later.
It’s a rare occurrence tbh in the London trade, and nowadays it’s far easier to spot a dodgy job now I’ve been driving longer Thanks due watching

slick operator its always those guys who are on top of the game you got to hand it to them they leave the rest of the have a go joes and other sweaty plebs standing they deserve the fare
I was in a taxi a couple of years ago where the glass sunroof above the passenger compartment was cracked because someone tried to avoid paying by kicking their way out.

How have you set up your card reader so it automatically prompts to leave a tip?
The proprietor I rent it off installed the machine and it had a tip prompt for every job. I’ll get back to you with the name

Definitely write it off! I’d never abandon my taxi for a few quid. I’ve spoken to quite a few drivers and they’ve never done a chase. Watch out for limping leggits! Bilking isn’t a secret btw thanks for watching
Risky video this one. I’d lie just to put people off, there’s already one helmet in this comment section saying how he had done it himself and loves doing it. You mad it seem very easy to just brush off
