    This was super easy and fun. It is easier to do those curves at the tips of the mustache is if you make a guide line

      Yes you’re right about the guidelines!

    Nice vid by the way. I just watched this one. Very detailed and clear instructions. Not going to attempt this one, I just want to make the blue bird once I obtain the materials. Keep up the great tutorials.

    Hi Jenny, for your blue bird design where did you buy the 4cm by 7cm blue paper? I checked Michaels craft store and its very expensive and in the packaging there are multiple colours? Thanks

    • @OrigamiTree
      @OrigamiTree  10 лет назад

      Hi Balloonguy3! I actually bought the paper from Hong Kong, but they sell them here in NYC, too. Unfortunately, paper in that size is always more expensive than square paper. That's just how they've always been priced. :-( I've been told than an alternate size is one that is a 1:2 ratio (manually cut squares in half by yourself). I don't manually cut my own paper because it takes too long. So, you can always purchase a "paper swan folding kit," and use only the colors you want. An example of a swan folding kit is this: www.ebay.com/itm/Korean-Large-White-Swan-Folding-Origami-Paper-Set-Give-Rise-to-Blessing-/121211783025?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c38c90771

      Hi Mony, I'm sorry you found it hard. :-( The only advice I can give is to keep rewinding the video and watching it over again (that's the advantage of a video tutorial, as opposed to a written diagram). It might take several tries before getting it right. Good luck!! Thanks for commenting!
