Crazy, 120 just straight up better than Happy in mirror now. If his micro is comparable, even better, doesn't seem to be much chance. 120 is scary good at leveraging his resources - I don't understand how he's able to go full upgrades, equal size army or bigger, but still have bigger bank while going for expo behind an attack. His tactical understanding of this MU has also reached the highest level I've seen. He generally moves and swallows up the map better than Happy. Incredible, how he figured out Happy in Show Cup 50 and has more or less beaten him just about most of the time since. Not even Lyn has ever dominated Happy like this

Happy is more consistent overall than eer0, but when i watch these two playing against each other i always have a feeling that eer0 is just a little bit better in every aspect of their matchup.
I feel like after the fourth game, happy was just getting tired. It feels like he was wandering and doing nothing, and lost many micro games. The first-Lich tactic works for the first several games because he played it to perfection, but once it’s not at that level, seems like DK+fast tech is much better on every timing.
Pure conspiracy and likely wrong / but I noticed both Lyn and eer0 reverse sweep Happy seriously in the span of a couple of weeks. Is this on purpose? Lose first few games to lull Happy into sense of overconfidence? Cause happy then gets stubborn and keeps playing the same strategy even when it starts losing.
In a sense, happy is TOO consistent and he used the same strategy for all 7 games. While eer0 and lyn change paces and have subtle adjustments to strategies all the time.

And with massing ghouls, UD has map control from tier 1 to tier 3 and creeps faster than every other race in game. In the past, massing ghouls put UD far behind as at tier 3, the units became liabiltiies. And then as the patch went, then blight no longer required graveyard at tier 1 which opened up a lot of strategies for UD. Some of those strategies involve nerubian tower rush vs Elf (which we saw recently vs moon and lawliet). If you go dh or warden, it's an instant loss hence you are forced into Keeper. And Keeper first loses to UD.
I think we really need a sober and rational discussion about all the good aspects of the lich and his spells campared to his weaknesses. In my opinion lich right now has the strongest nuke, not because of its damage but because of the slow and escpecially the instant spell. With the dark ritual being instant as well, as an oppenent there really is no window for microing except just running away. This danger alone just makes lich so unbelievably strong. His biggest weakness, which is hp, is negated by DK coil. My proposition: Please nerf at least one of the following aspects - nova slow (slow duration of UD overall is just too long) - range of nova spell by 100 (with this the lich makes himself a little bit more vulnerable when casting spells) - area of nova (just a little bit) - casting time of dark ritual of at least 1 second (to give opponent not more but A time to react) - damage of lvl 3 nova (the high-mana-cost-argument does`t suffice because lich has so much more mana with dark ritual + statue + int hero)
they are playing random heroes. really fun mode, endless possibilities. Imagine a blade on level 3 crit paired with level 2 vamp aura of a DL, sucking back hundreds of HP each strike. Grubby played it recently, it's fucking silly and sick.

Statistics would like to have a word with you. there was a previous high level tournament with only these guys, and over half the field being NE/orc and it was still UD/UD finals
@@alexch3618 the whole logic is faulty. Read your own stats again, if UD is op then why half the field is NE/ORC? in short folks like you won't be happy until finals are more or less equally distributed across four races disregard of skill levels. Hmm... that seems pretty balanced.

The fact that the initial pool has a lot fewer UD players based on popularity alone yet UD is consistently winning championships is proof enough that UD are rather OP.
Are you sure? A few months ago people were saying "Soin" for defeating Happy w/ FS mass HH was the best ORC. Where is Soin now? Kaho is very good vs Happy too, yes loses to some guy called Colourful. My point is, some players have trained a lot vs Happy and have tried to figure his playstyle and effective stats vs him, sacrificing other matchups. I wonder how will Happy play is there is HUGE money on the table (like 30.000USD)...

120s micro on LR was mind-blowing he repeated it on EI aswell. The level shown on those last 2 maps by him was outstanding
