    Just priced out exactly similar equipped F-150 and F-250 lariats with a power stroke diesel. $4,000 difference. Yeah I’ll go with the badass F-250 super duty and that 6.7L power stroke.

    I wish that they offered the diesel with the 15-17 front end. I personally don’t like the way the 18s look.

  • @AkioWasRight
    @AkioWasRight 6 лет назад +31

    This truck has a belt-driven HPFP mounted BEHIND the engine. How the hell do you service that? With all the emissions control garbage, front AND REAR belts, etc., this truck sounds like it's going to cost a fortune to keep running as it gets older.

    • @Bubby91
      @Bubby91 6 лет назад +1

      emdec55 quite common these days that vehicles become more costly to service Anyways, so I’m not surprised. But yea this is a little more on the extreme side.

      Belts are more reliable than chains and last longer with one proviso, they do not like oil leaks.

    • @jackzakowski6952
      @jackzakowski6952 6 лет назад +18

      K Welton Wrong! Timing chains last much longer, often the life of the engine, and they require no servicing. Besides, whatever they're using, it's dumb to be putting it in the back of the engine, where you can't reach.

    I work construction everyone would tell me to buy a truck. Well i just can't get myself to drop $40k on a new truck. They just dont do it for me. I got a Mustang instead. There is nothing about the way trucks look or drive that excites me. Anyone else have these feelings?

    • @NoelJacobs
      @NoelJacobs 6 лет назад +5

      Nope. I think it's just from person to person. I grew up in trucks, my entire life. So even though I have nothing to haul, or I don't work a job that requires a truck, I just love everything about trucks.

    • @PeRRXX
      @PeRRXX 6 лет назад

      No not me. But it’s just person to person, like the other guy said. But I love how comfortable and practical they are. Not to mention, with a few mods, they can look insanely aggressive. I love Mustangs, and I own a 2001 GT myself, but I would love to have a Silverado 1500 as my daily.

      Noel Jacobs Well, like they say it's better to have one and don't need it than to not have one when it can be really handy. I just now got my first pick up at 19 but before I did every time we were doing yard work it was really a pain and made everything more difficult to haul, to pull, etc. to the extent we had to call my granddad from two hours out so we can use his. Trucks these days are not only comfortable and fun to drive but are very practical and come in handy even if you're not hauling with it 24/7. Us Texas love them. You see them in our big cities to our country towns and suburbs no matter where you are you see them.

    • @affinity3281
      @affinity3281 6 лет назад

      I have the IQ of an Aztek because I don't like trucks? I didn't say anything about the utility a truck offers. The majority of people who buy trucks and SUVs never haul anything. It comes down to personal taste and enjoyment most of the time.

    So were not gonna state the fact that ram is Way stronger and not as soft as f-150s? Because it is. The beds suck its not steel! And ram can pull more! And faster. Don't get me wrong, a ford is a ford and they are good but if you really wanna go into detail we know that but in all seriousness ram vans SUCK.
