I expect coach Freeze to be at Auburn a long time, he has the #4 recruiting class in the country and folks just needs to have patience he's building Auburn into a power house but it takes time.
Yea he was there to throw a deep ball with no time left, so he should have chunked the ball regardless. No matter what happened he should have heaved the ball. I think that play alone shows why he’s been QB3/4 all along.
Hank Brown was playing his first real game and Hugh didn’t want him to throw an INT in the end zone, even if it was almost to be expected on a hail mary type of play. i think he threw Holden in to throw it to keep Hank’s mental game strong and Holden would’ve rather run out of bounds than throw a pick. Just my theory.
The 1 on 1 in the end zone he got beat too easy. And then falls the ground and acted like he wanted to pout I wasn’t too impressed with that. But the kids got potential to be elite!
Yeah why do we not have Faulk on one end and McCloud on the strong side rikes and Jones in the middle keys and Asante linebacker and in 4-3 woodyard 3rd got great back up talent to rotate out with also
First off wde like the second half defense adjustments but with the defense talent should be running a 4-2-5 put 4 down faulk strong de McCloud de Rikes and Jones dt Asante and Keys linebacker etc this set up would take pressure off the back end come on coach sec competition their going to run all over us if new mexico did it mint if defense is called mint dont use it😂
Au still looks very bad as team players playing hard simply not put in right pla es this is on coachs spring summer fall 3 games in should ne better than this come coachs get it done its on yall
@@kaazon72 I still believe Robby Ashford was the best bet for QB1 last season but Freeze was so into “change for change sakes” and riding Thorne’s wood, that Ashford never got a real look. He’s a great QB and superb additional dynamic to the offense. Had he been allowed to build a rhythm and just go ball, he’d have stayed at the position and at Auburn.

Freeze literally talked about how he wants to build this program with players who love playing for Auburn. Seems like a guy who wants to be here long term if given the opportunity
