i am coming to Aber in Sep 2020, too. Could you give me some informations about PhD English of this school. I really don't know Aber' pronounced is easy to hear? thank you so much Sheradan Ann
@@nhichau3314 Hello! I don't know much about the English PhD program, but I did take one course in the English department (Writing and Place) and based on that I think the department is wonderful and offers a variety of resources for success. Luckily everyone calls it Aber instead of Aberystwyth - it is easy once you hear it, though!
Heyguys imjodie It definitely depends on which student accommodation you are assigned, but it’s a typical dorm-size room - no roommate, just flat mates - and storage was sufficient for me! I’m sure it’s a little different for exchange students versus someone staying long-term. I didn’t make my space super cozy, but you absolutely could!
Eloise Bourns I did not receive any free T-shirts, but they offered a good deal for a “freshers pack” that included a T-shirt, crew neck and bag, I think, at the student store. :)
I went to Aberystwyth in 2010. Was an incredible place, hope you are having a wonderful time and enjoying your degree!
solaalchemist I’m back home now, but miss Aberystwyth so much! It was a lovely experience.

Although I'm English, I believe that Cymru (Wales) is pronounced cumREE. Just think, you thought British English was weird!

Do you know if universities ( or just Aber) give out free college shirts like they do in the USA?
