Support Roles Aid Bible Translation

It is crucial that people fill support roles in the work of Bible translation. These roles - like accountants, teachers, mechanics and more - are integral parts of the translation teams. Al Williams, a pilot in the Philippines, talks about the importance of such roles. He’s seen how stressful and chaotic it is when there is no help or support to lean on. But for those in the field, accountants who handle finances, staff who file paperwork for visas and mechanics who fix planes are invaluable. Al discusses the fact that the people who fill these roles, and others like them, are using their gifts to help translators, in turn, use their own gifts to translate the Bible all around the world.
Wycliffe’s mission is to see a Bible translation program in progress in every language still needing one by 2025.
